I was looking at some pictures of the water play area at Kidani and it occurred to me: Do I need to be concerned about my kids slipping? I would imagine it is difficult to monitor their every step - regardless of age! :-) Would water shoes be advised here? Or are they even allowed?

I just asked my kids and they said they didn't slip at all. They were bare foot, no water shoes. They don't remember if they saw other kids in water shoes.

You can wear water shoes but I did not find it slippery at all.

I was there last summer with my kids ( which loved it) and if memory serves, the ground was that hard rubber kind of material that allows water to drain through. This helps with the footing and also cushions the fall if there are slips.

DD has never had any problems slipping and she didn't wear water shoes. Her first time here she was 4. I don't think you'll have a problem:thumbsup2
