Kidani Views - Help with request

I am going to be booking a 2 bedroom at Kidani tomorrow. We only have enough points to book a standard view but I heard that some of the standard views are actually savannah views.

What should I request to try to get one of these rooms? It will be our first time taking my parents and I'd love for them to experience a savannah view!

We had a standard room with both pool and savanah views. I do not recall the room number but it was wonderful.

For some reason I thought it was Jambo House that had standard view villas that had a partial savanna view. I thought Kidani standard views face either the parking lot or the front entrance of the resort. I wouldn't want the OP to get her hopes up if Kidani standard views aren't what she had in mind.

OP, not to be snarky, but if you really want your parents to have a savanna view, you should book that view. Can you borrow points to make it happen?

Honestly I would try to get 2 studios. But I would definitely request close to lobby if your parents are a bit older. Mine are 68 and 74--had the room on the sixth bead at kidani, while we were at the first bead. Their walk was horrible. Honestly you can see animals from lots of places, so I wouldn't worry about the view too much and would get the cheaper studios if possible.

By the way--both of the above studios were Savanna view. We were on the Sunset savanna and mom and dad got the smaller savanna--same amount of points...less view and long walk. But we had a great time.
