The shortest possible walk from any room in Kidani is about 1/4 mile and to have that you should request a room close to the Zazu elevator (last elevator on south wing) which elevator takes you to ground floor/parking lot from where you can walk to Jambo. From a room in that area walk to Kidani bus station will be fairly long, and to lobby and pool very long. Note a request near the Zazu elevator automatically would put you on the Sunset Savanna (all savanna view rooms on south wing have Sunset Savanna view)
Be aware that there is a bus that runs all day and evening between the Kidani and Jambo front entrances (wait is usually under 15 minutes) so getting a room far down the south wing near the Zazu elevator is not a necessity for going to Jambo. If you want to be close to the bus station on the south wing and also within striking distance of the lobby for the bus to Jambo, request a room near the Timon elevator.
