What are some things you learned or saw at your stay or visit to kidani village that you didnt know about going in.... Any hidden gems or treasures to look for?? Neat little spots you found by accident.. Any tips in general. Thanks!

:thumbsup2 We haven't been yet....October is our first trip "home". I have watched every YouTube video, read some trip reports and even purchased the music list on ITunes played over the speaker system at the resort....hmmm I sound crazy:goodvibes

popcorn::gems anyone, pearls of wisdom, food for the obsessed AKV newbie....I will be the pooh sized blonde singing in a Swahili accent roaming around the resort. DH has told me I can't stand too close to him.....I am sorry I hijacked your thread....I had a rough day at work and couldn't wait to get home to the DIS. I loved the restroom on the ground floor, near Sanaa...so much that I almost took a photo of it. Not a place to go hang out, but still...;)

My 5 year old wanted to live in the Community Hall. She wanted to make every type of cheesey craft they offered.

I enjoyed when I had a chance to just walk down the hall sans kids. They have African art/craft displayed in the walls near the elevators. It was nice to read about each piece and enjoy the beauty

;) Last year when going in the AK restroom near EE I realized I have the same floor tile in my home except a different grout color....so you know I love the AKV decor.

So many more places to view the animals and even in Sanaa a lot of the tables view the Savannah.

Every evening in the Library they had a castmember give a little talk about their home in Africa. It was very interesting. When we were there in May the castmembers brother had just gotten married and he had a little slide show about it which showed the differences in cultures when getting married. Not many people were there so it was very intimate and personal. We enjoyed that very much and look forward to that in future trips.

I also enjoyed the restroom near Sanaa. Even took video of it!

There is an AKV music list avail for purchase on iTunes? What name did you find it under?:surfweb:

I read on the activities board that there's a cultural tour of Sanaa resturant. Has anyone done that? DO they include samples or just tell you the backround of the resturant? If no one knows, I'm planning on doing the tour when I go in mid-October, and will report back here.
