Kidani concerns!

We have an October trip planned/booked for Kidani. I would think all the kinks will be worked out by then if opening in May? This is our first ever trip after signing on to DVC, so it would be nice if everything went as planned.

If trying DVC out is your goal, then you NEED to be staying in a 1 bedroom or larger to get the true value of DVC. Just staying in a studio doesn't give you an advantage over a regular hotel room other than the kitchenette. Kidani rooms will be larger than the Jambo rooms anyway. I think you are setting yourself up to not like it no matter what.

No no no - the benefit is that it's PAID FOR. Studios all the way for us! I'd sooner book two studios than a 1BR (and have done so).

I have a split stay in July Jamba Concierge for 4 nights then Kidani for 5 nights. We just wanted to try something new. Now I am worried and wished I would have just stayed at Jamba the whole time. I want to make sure the pool is 100% complete since we spend everyday durring the day at the pool!

Just go with a open mind and don't be upset if things aren't perfect. Expect delays and Cast Members who are still learning. Construction workers may still be around putting on the finishing touches and there may not be a lot of animals to see yet.

I don't mind a few things here and there, but if big things like the pool aren't ready they better be prepared to credit my account.

Disney Land of the OVERINFLATED hotel pricing! No way in HECK would I pay that rate and I LOVE my AKV! It's not worth that LOL!

that you're set on disliking Kidani.

Perhaps you should move your reservation to a resort you know you'll like and visit AKV while on your trip.
