Hello everyone,
I'm here now and thought I would post a quick review of the villas at Kidani and Beach Club.
We are doing a split stay and first stayed 3 nights at Kidani, and are now at Beach Club-We had a one bedroom villa in both places.
For Kidani, we requested Sunset Savannah, and I even saw on this board that room 7720 was a great room, so I went ahead and requested it. And guess what? I got room 7720. First time I've ever requested a specific room and received it.
It was a great room-the perfect Savannah view, on the 3rd floor, close to the elevators. I loved the villas at Kidani and thought everything that was wrong with the floor plans on the older villas, they fixed at Kidani.
We loved having two bathrooms and the shower had THE BEST SHOWER HEAD EVER. It was a spacious bathroom, and the entire villa just felt roomy and well thought out.
My only regret was planning Kidani for the start of our stay-We are always gung ho in the beginning and we relax and unwind at the end of our stay. So, at Kidani we were barely in our room-that's my fault.
I wasn't crazy about how far Kidani is from Jambo house-it's almost like a separate hotel, and while I loved the room, I missed being at Jambo house.
I talked to a CM and there are a lot of talks about adding a full service breakfast at Sanaa, which I think they need.
So, onto Beach Club-no real complaints, the room is fine, it's all just getting a little shabby, and really does feel like Grandma's beloved beach house that hasn't been remodeled in ages, but you still love it.
I forgot how crazy the bathroom is-Our first night at BCV, I got lost in the bathroom in the middle of the night-I couldn't find a light switch and all the doors were confusing. Then I heard my husband get up, and knew he didn't know I was in the bathroom, and I scared the **** out of him. LOL. Totally worth it. We eventually found a light switch, but it's not such a great bathroom.
We also got all of our requests-I am overlooking the canal, and can see the Epcot ball and fireworks. I also have the road outside our balcony, but it doesn't bother me.
I do keep making comparisons to our villa at Animal kIngom, which my husband doesn't like to hear because he loves Beach Club. But I thought they outdid themselves on the new layout of the villas and I loved our Savannah view.
Thanks for reading. Let me know if you have any questions.
