On our way home to Texas right now. Our lovely trip is officially over.
A few random positive thoughts:
I had never tried a Dole Whip...until now. Boy was I missing out. Pineapple is not even my favorite, but I'm looking up recipes because I don't know how long I can go without one!
Magic Bands are pretty much the most convenient things ever. My family LOVED them. FP+ worked great in my opinion. I feel more than 3 would have made our day too rushed and too planned without that "on a whim" feel. No system glitches to be found either.
New Fantasyland and Storybook Circus were amazing. Love the Dumbo queue. Love the added beauty of Rapunzel's tower, Ariel's castle and the Beast's castle.
First trip since the latest Test Track and Star Tours refurbishments. Both were excellent. DD 14 not the biggest Star Wars fan (DH is Star Wars obsessed) said it was one of her favorite rides this trip.
Be our Guest was amazing. Love the feel, the food was excellent. We were lucky enough to do a dinner and a lunch there. We had dinner reservations and got the email to test lunch FP while we were there.
Biergarten and Prime Time Cafe were excellent as always. Tried Rose & Crown this time, loved it.
We decided to do some attractions we have never done on previous trips this time. Of course we did all of our favorites we decided to do some of those hokey Disney classics this time and we were glad we did. Enchanted Tiki Room, Tom Sawyer's Island (DS 7 loved it), People Mover, Hall of Presidents.
We did Pirate's League for our DS 7 this time, he LOVED it.
First stay at AoA....we loved it.
Now a few.....well no trip is perfect thoughts:
Lots of construction on and around the castle. Yes I know it's very necessary just wasn't thrilled our trip coincided with that part. I can't complain though, we were happy to be there!
Idon't think we'll do CRT again. We always do breakfast there and it just didn't have the same feel this time. Maybe we were just too impressed with BoG.
Although we loved our Magic Bands, it was a little confusing when ordering/paying for meals and snacks. I felt like we had to be very clear on which we were using a dining credit for and which would be charged to the room. But that is probably just me!
Lastly - we used ALL of our snack credits this trip thanks to some of the tips and blogs I read so we made sure we tried a little bit of everything!
Now time for PDD.
