I have been getting such a runaround on getting my Shrek video! The dealer was out of certificates when I did my test drive and told me I should receive one in about a week. Well, here it is three weeks later and guess what? Still no certificate. I sent an e-mail to Kia yesterday and have received no response. I called the dealer, and they gave me an 800 number to call. Well, that number is the one you call to redeem your certificate. They told me to call my dealer back. I did, and they then gave me the phone number to the southern regional office (I live in Atlanta). I talked to a nice lady named Maddie. She was trying to be helpful, but she was new at the job and didn't know what to do. She told me that each dealership only received 30(!!!) certificates and that demand has far exceeded their expectations. She said they were mailing out 10,000 certificates to dealers tomorrow and that I should check with my dealer in a couple of days. I told her (nicely) that this was ridiculous, I was tired of making so many phone calls, that I know of many other people who are having the same problem, and this is giving Kia a bad name. So after putting me on hold for some time, she finally came back and took my name and address. She said she'd hunt around her office and try to find a certificate to send me directly. I'm keeping my fingers crossed but not holding my breath!
