Keys to the Kingdom Tour

I'm thinking this year may be the one to take this tour as a family. However, I've heard there are age restrictions....my DD is 13--is she too young for it?

If not, how much would this appeal to a DS-16 and DD-13 who have been traveling to WDW since they were tots? Each time we go they like to do different things. Could we make ressies last minute or do they have to be months in advance?

Guests have to be at least 16 to take this tour, so I guess you'll have to wait a few more years before your family can do it. It is an interesting tour, and you get to see some neat backstage areas.

It is a great tour just as TLinden said and there is an age limit as well....I think it is because they go through the utilidors and you sometimes see castmembers out of character.....they do not wnat to spoil the magic and it is sort of a lecturing tour....maybe they feel too much to hold the attention of younger ones.

I just took the Keys tour with my sister about a week and a half ago. It was very informative (thank to Matthew, our tour guide from Guest Services), but there is an age restriction of 16. We made our reservations 2 days before we took the tour, but if you have a larger group, call as far ahead as you can because they have a 25 person limit per tour.

KTTK was very informative and entertaining. DW and I have visited MK 50-60 times over the years and we STILL learned something
