key west liquor store?

Is there a liquor store close to where the ship docks in Key West? I was thinking of waiting til then to buy a few bottles of wine rather than worrying about it on Saturday. Has anyone done this? Thanks.

What a good idea! I did a yellow pages look up for liqour stores in Key West (I have not been there...yet!) and there is one on South Street and another on Duvall that look like they may....I stress may....be near where we dock, according to the map. I bet there is something near! Can anyone confirm?

There should be no problem carrying booze back on board ..is there?? It will be purchased in the USA... Disney doesn't have any restrictions on liquer carry on in Key West...Do they?

I do know that the stores further from port are cheaper , but we had no problem bringing the alcohol on board. Just have it in a bag if possible. We used our stroller. LOL

Just remember it is "EASTER SUNDAY" and here in the NE most Liquior stores are closed and another post even asked how many stores will even be open on this day.

Just a thought.

Maybe Shirley can answer this for us as she is a real "Conch"

there are a "few" liquor stores is Key West - first there is one called Lost Weekend Liquor Store at 427 Caroline Street - phone number 305-296-4545 which is only about 2 blocks from Mallory Square, then there is Key West Liquor which is located at 705 Duval Street which is 7 blocks from Mallory Square and their phone number is 305-294-9874 - I know Fausto's Market carries wine and beer, but I don't know if they carry liquor - Fausto's is located on the corner of Bahama Lane and Fleming Street which is located in front of Fast Buck Freddies and the ol's Hotel La Concha --if you "shop" at the the different bars, its going to be pricey -----If you can get to the blvd, you will find a Winn Dixie located at 2760 North Roosevelt Blvd and their phone number is 305-294-3664.
