To anyone who has done this tour -- how was it? We are thinking about the Trolley tour, but then I saw this and thought the kids might enjoy this (5, 4, and 2 years old). Do you get to see a lot of fish? Of course on the pictures it looks like it, but I was thinking it might be darker than it looks on the pictures.

Also, if you have done this, did you do it through DCL or on your own? I was surprised that there are quite a few to pick from if you want to do it on your own when I typed it into Google. The prices were not that much different, except there was one, Get Wet Inc., that advertises kids under 6 are free. So, for us, that would make it a good deal compared to the one through the ship where only under 3 are free. Also, for anyone who has done a glass bottom ride on your own, were you able to buy tickets that day, or do you need to get tickets in advance because they sell out?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts and feedback!!! :wave2:

please realize this is just my humble opinion... we did this excursion through disney in early september of last year, it was BRUTAL. we were out for a very long time it was hot and crowded no where to sit ,saw few fish through 2 small viewing windows that were also too crowded.both my 5year old dd and my dad were ill. there was only water to drink or soda for $1.00 a can many others were not feeling well either. no shade no breeze. if we had been a little closer i would have jumped overboard and swam to shore .this is not a good choice for children. or anyone else for that matter. again its jmho.

Anyone interested in receiving a bunch of information on Key West are most welcomed to it - there is nothing in it for me in any way shape or form - since Key West is my hometown, I know it very well and each time I go down, I grab all I can that will be of interest to those that will be going down there - you need to send me a large manilla envelope, self addressed with about $3,75 stamps on it - I fill it up and mail it back to you within a couple of days - you can mail it to The Perfect Gift, 6550 North Atlantic Avenue, Cape Canaveral, Fla 32920.
If I can help further, just drop me a note at snelsonbrown@aol.com
Always
Shirley
