Hi there -
I finally learned (and it was what I first thought and reported)
due to the high influx of ships coming into Key West each day - the north mole will be closed off and on for at least a year and a half - this will start sometime in May until sometime in July to begin with while the Navy does a lot of dredging - if you want to read about it you can go to keysnews.com -------- also you will read what I have been saying for quite sometime about being careful with the tee shirt shops - looks like another one got reported ---again----for overcharging - this took place in the 300 block of Duval Street --a charge of less than one hundred dollars went over close to $600.00 -you have to WATCH WHAT YOU SIGN AND FOR HOW MUCH also make sure you do GET YOUR RECEIPT.
I know overcharging is very common in tourist town, but this is my hometown and I wish they would run all of the people who keep doing this over and over and over again out of town and put the word out to not them come back - Anyhow hope this will help - once I get to Key West the end of the month, I will know more and will let you know times and dates. I also intend to find out which tee shirt shop got caught on the overcharging.
