Key Lime Pie?

Now that my ultimate favorite is gone from Flame Tree (ugh, so sad - yet another dessert/snack travesty) I need a replacement. I believe I heard that Main Street Bakery now has one? And possibly Goofy's at Downtown? Anyone tried these? And how is the key lime 'mousse' at Flame Tree? I have to say it doesn't look terribly appealing from the picture I saw. I know some of the full service restaurants have key lime pie (Olivia's is sooo good) but I was hoping to find a counter service alternative. Suggestions?

I use to be a big fan of the Key Lime pie at Flame Tree, and was really upset to see it gone when I was there in December. I tried the mousse, but it was just okay. Not horrible or anything, but not great.

My favorite place for Key Lime in Disney (and the only other place I know of) is at the Sunshine Seasons at the Land pavillion at Epcot. The bakery stand sells it on the far left.

It's huge and oh so good. My BFF and I always make a special trip over to get one when we are at Disney since we are both key lime fans. They still had it when I was there in December.

The key lime pie at Puck Express is delicious--but we've only been able to get it at the West Side location.

It's pretty pricey, but Fulton's Crab House also has a nice Key Lime pie.

Thanks for the suggestions. We typically eat at Sunshine Seasons once a trip so I'll have to check that one out. I love Pucks. I wonder why it's only at the West Side one though.

We LOVED the "key lime pie" at Sunshine Seasons, but as you can see, it's not a traditional Key lime pie. The lime is thicker and more custard-y (so the taste is the same flavor but a little more subtle, if that makes sense?) and it's not a triangle. I mean, it was super yummy, but it was definitely not the exact same thing as a classic Key lime pie.

I've seen some people complain about that (which, er,... it's not like you can be *surprised* by that, I mean you order it out of the bakery case, you get to see it before you order it, but whatever), so I wanted to make sure you knew that it's a little different.

Yes, it does seem almost more like key lime cheesecake vs. a traditional pie (based on the pic). It does look good though so I guess I'll play it by ear. Thanks for the head's up.

I do love my key lime pie - I live in Florida!

The one I had at Sunshine Seansons is not really a key lime pie - it is more light and airy like a mousse. I still like it - it is refreshing - and big!
(I didn't think it was thick and custard-like at all, unless they changed it.)

Main street bakery, Goofy's at DD, and Candy store at the Studios and BW Bakery has the small tart.

Captain's Grille has a really good tart as does Olivia's and OKW Goods to Go.

I don't know of anywhere that has the traditional pie in pie shape now.

DW is a big fan of Key Lime Pie and we seem to visit the Sunshine Seasons in Epcot's Land Pavilion on most visits.

There is no longer key lime pie at Flame Tree BBQ?!!! That is (was?) my favorite Disney dessert from our last visit. *cries*

Luckily, we are going to Cape May and Sunshine Seasons when we visit in November, so I'm happy to hear that there are other good key lime options in the World!
