We just got back from WDW.
It was a great trip but on our first day our oldest DD got sick.
We took it slow and still had fun. We had taken the kids to CG when they were younger but they could not really sit still for 2-3 hours but on this trip we figured they would enjoy the place and we had ADRs timed so we could see the fireworks. The oldest DD was so tired she slept through the show.
Our youngest and I went out outside to watch and it was COLD. This was during the cold snap last week. BRRRRRRRR.
The food as usual at CG was excellent. Our only complaint is that that do not supply wheel chairs to roll us to our car.
We were so stuffed it hurt to walk.
It was expensive but worth it.
Later in the week we went for the first time to Sanaa. VERY good and much cheaper but we left stuffed to the gills and needing wheel chairs again.
While we did overeat walking up to 10 miles a day allowed me to loose at least three pounds!
Friday the ick hit me while at EPCOT. By lunch time I headed back to the resort where I ate and crawled into bed. Without me being there the family went and ate at.....
The Coral Reef.
The DW and my parents did not know of the reviews of the Coral Reef.
The opinion? VERY expensive for the food you get. My dad is going to complain to WDW about how overpriced the meal is compared to what is on the plate.
I am sure Disney is looking to maximize profits and wants to see how much they can get away with but we are already reacting to their higher prices. We did NOT have that many ADRs this trip and we did not go to MNSSHP. Disney has overpriced MNSSHP. Its just not worth that kind of money.
