Speaking of budget buster coffees! I received a Keurig for Christmas and the KCups are really expensive compared to my old Folger habit! I got an email from Amazon and they have the Grove Square Hot Chocolate on sale, has anyone tried this company before? I ordered some from Bed, Bath and Beyond so I'm looking forward to trying those. The Hot Chocolate I bought was $15 for 16 so it was a little pricey.

I don't have a Keurig but I got this ad in my mail today.
Someone let me know if this place has good prices, I have a friend who has a Keurig and I thought I would pass it on if it is a good deal. It looks like you can get 24 k-cups for $14.99 or samples of each flavor, 5 for $3.99.

I have tried Grove Square...received as a gift. I am convinced it came from the $ store. I thought it was terrible. You can invest in a "my k Cup" and use your favorite ground coffee to keep the cost in check. If all you you want to spend is for Grove Square, return the keurig and bring back the filter coffee maker!!

That's very pricey. My local grocery store sells KCups at something like $8.99 for a 12 pack. I would definitely NOT pay almost $1 per Kcup for hot cocoa.

Instead, do what my kids do: make sure there is no kcup in the Keurig. Open the packet of hot cocoa (Nestle 8 or 10 packets in a box for $1.19 into the mug and then brew plain water into the cup.

For coffee, get one of the inserts that uses your own grounds. It can save you a ton of $$$$.

DOH!!! How have I not thought of that? I have three boxes of Swiss Miss in the cupboard and DS was asking me the other day if I would get hot chocolate for our new Keurig. I'll be showing him how to make a cup this evening! :)

Be sure and register your Keurig on their website and you will get an email for 2 free boxes when you buy 2 boxes. A great deal!

:goodvibes Happy to help! Sometimes we just don't think about the simple solution that's right in front of us.

Love their sugar free spiced apple hot cider. This is the only item that I have had Grove Square. I first purchased them at Kohl's, but I had to go to amazon this week to buy them as I think they were a Christmas type item at Kohl's. I was able to buy 3 box (18 each) for $23 which I thought was pretty good.

Well, I was looking for K cups on Amazon. (New Keurig owner). I saw Grove Square at rock bottom prices. I started thinking that maybe this is just a folgers or maxwell house type of coffee. Nothing fancy, but plain coffee.

I looked for reviews and one of them was from a member here. She said that after she brewed a cup of coffee, the cup was light. Really light. So...she opened it up and it was empty! Instant coffee in a K cup:scared1:. Other reviews said the same thing.

I would think their cocoa and cider might be ok, but don't buy the coffee, even though it's cheap!!

Stay away from Grove Square-tried the hot chocolate and it was not very good. You are better off with Swiss Miss and hot water from the Keurig. Much cheaper. Seems to me Grove Square is just an instant product in a K-Cup. Dont waste your money:scared1::scared1:

Grove Square is bad!
I bought it for the first time a few months ago and the coffee was coming out light and sometimes clear. I completely forgot about that and bought some last week. Its still just as yucky as the first time. For the hot chocolate I am going to guess its even worse.

I bought a Eko cup from Amazon. The cup is refillable and there is no need to buy any K cups. This cup can brew a nice strong cup of coffee. Much better than the regular K cup. The Eko cup sprays the water as opposed to the stream of water that goes through the middle of the K cup. Wow I sound like an info commercial!! Anyways I am able to save some $$.

Don't forget when pricing k-cup online stores have 24 per box Bed bath & Beyond, Kohls have 18 & Supermarket type places have 12. Look for online coupons for signing up at sites.

Target has a good kcup deal this week. Its not for all, only the $11.99 ones, I think. Buy two boxes and get a $5 target gift card.

DO NOT BUY THE GROVE SQUARE COFFEE! It is instant coffee in a kcup, not grounds. Nasty stuff :thumbsup2

I have yet to find a hot chocolate kcup I like. They all have a nasty aftertaste and just not strong. I just run hot water through with a pack of my favorite hot chocolate. Just as easy and tons cheaper.

Yes, it is instant and not very good! Sam's Club has good prices also. Many sites also do a discount of first order that makes a decent price. I've been aiming for 50 cents per cup lately....

I do not buy hot coco for the keurig. I do have a few kcups of different teas though.

I use various online websites for ordering such as coffeewiz.

Thanks for the reviews! I never thought of the hot chocolate with hot water...:rotfl:
I got the refillable k-cup and love it!

Do not use Groove Square! I had a Keurig and bought the Grove Square coffee. My machine would not work so I returned it and was given another in its place. This happened twice. I got a third Keurig and bought coffee made for the Keurig and did not have a problem. I then put in a Grove Square coffee k cup and again the machine did not work. The GS cups are made a little differently- they're a tad bit shorter and do not activate the brewer.

DH only drinks Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. Luckily Price Chopper had a sale a while back $5 for a 12 pack. I stocked up and hope it lasts till the next sale.
