??Keurig K-cups- Best discount and best brews??

My Sams Club has Donut House GM Vanilla and Newmans Own for 33.00 for a box of 80..that is the best price I have seen anywhere.

I love green mountain coffee. I also am into the millstone breakfast blend! It's very yummy! Kohl's has the scratch offs now so it's a good deal. Keurig.com has good deals and so does Target. :)

Are there other Newman's Own varieties available? We've been thinking about getting a Keurig for Christmas but I'm pretty insistent about only buying organic AND fair-traded coffee -- Newman's is one of the few readily-available brands of ground coffee that's both. I'm assuming their Kcups would be the same. But the extra-bold is a little intense :scared1: for me.

We use Newman's Own organic for decaf (sometimes you just crave a cup of coffee at night!). After reading how "normal" coffee is made into decaf coffee, organic is the only way I'll go.

For "regular" coffee, we use Van Houtte. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001HKZZ6Q/ref=oss_product It's also organic, fair-trade, and a nice medium roast. :)

We have had a Keurig for a while. DH uses it. Had one model, then as a promotion from my bank for opening a small business account, got a bigger one meant mostly for offices. We gave our other one to a co worker of mine, and she gave her little small one to her dad.

What we then discovered is that the new one we got (which is more of an office model) does not accommodate the "my K cup" and we can no longer use regular ground coffee instead of the K cups in the machine. With DH out of work since April '09, we were not spending the extra on the K cups but using Chock or another brand that I got at the market.

Now, we have no option but to use the old drip machine for his coffee. For any holiday, I give him K cups that he rations out over the weeks. Even with sales and coupons, it still costs about $.40/cup for the K cups. Given that I can buy a whole can of Chock for $1.99, it's just too expensive while he's not working.

But a word to the wise...make sure the machine you're buying takes the "my K cups" before you purchase. I know that the K cup coffees are good, but everyone needs an option and we just don't have that anymore.

Live and learn.

I thought i'd bump this since so many of us will be getting a Keurig from Santa this year. I just bought a 60 cup sampler pack for $24 (original $30 with 20% coupon) which works out to $.40/cup. Anyone else doing any better?

Sorry, I meant to post that, too!! It was at Bed Bath and Beyond. There are 5 cups each of:

Green Mountain Coffee Breakfast Blend
Green Mountain Coffee Nantucket Blend
Cafe Escapes Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa
Celestial Seasonings English Breakfast Black Tea
Newman's Own Organics Special Blend
Emeril's Big Easy Bold
Coffee People The Original Donut Shop Coffee
Caribou Coffee Caribou Blend
Timothy's World Coffee Decaffeinated Colombian
Tully's Kona Blend
Gloria Jean's Coffees Hazelnut
Van Houtte French Vanilla

The best I've seen is usually on amazon subscribe and save. If you belong to Costco, you can get the donut shop that ends up to be around 32 cents a cup.

Taste is subjective, but I personally would avoid anything with Green Mountain on it, I actually almost returned the Keurig while drinking the sample cups of their "coffee" when I first got my machine. Nantucket Blend is hands down the worst coffee I have ever had, and my mother in law loves to buy the cheapest coffee possible, so I know bad coffee. Deidrich (who makes the Coffee People/Donut shop brand) is usually excellent.

I wish they would make Gevalia coffee k cups I love their coffee.:)

I used to have a Tassimo and since I got my Keurig that is the only thing I miss.

:sad1:

You can get the Subscribe and Save Coffee People, Donut Shop K-Cups for Keurig Brewers (Pack of 50) for only $18.70 (w/ free shipping) which works out to .37 cents a cup. The nice thing about the Subscribe and Save is you can easily cancel it anytime that you want, but still enjoy the free shipping and 15% discount. I really like this coffee- it is very similar to a Dunkin' Donuts regular coffee. They also have Bold, and a few other flavors in this size/price range.

I order from Coffee for less or Coffee Rocket, depending on which one has a coupon code and is the cheapest. We drink Green Mountain Nantucket Blend. However, at Walmart the other day they had 3 different K-Cups 18 ct for 4.74. One was a Kona and 2 were Extra Bold. I get the Extra Bold and if it is too strong just add a little water. I think anything around 40 cents a K cup is a good deal.

Do the chai (tea) k-cups make the tea kind of creamy like you would buy at Starbucks, or does it come out like a regular tea with the chai flavor?

I prefer flavored mellow coffees. I'd love some recommendations.

I ordered a Keurig from Newegg, but I'm not sure what coffee to get. I don't want a huge sampler pack because I'm afraid I may not like many of them. I love the vanilla lattes from Starbucks, and those french vanilla things you can buy at a gas station where they kind of taste like coffee plus maybe cocoa or something like that mixed.

Is there anything similar that a keurig can brew? If not, I'm fine with just flavored black coffee that I can add my own cream & sugar to.
