I got a 30% off code for Kohls tomorrow and plan to buy a Keurig Coffee Maker. Do you like your machine? Do you have a favorite drink? Which size should I get..48 or 60 oz. Thanks for the info..

You're gonna get a ton of posts on this thread! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Keurig! My very favorite is the Green Mountain Breakfast Blend---although I do NOT like a strong coffee. It is absolutely wonderful!! I order it every time Kohl's has their 30% off code. I have the mini Keurig brewer and only got it because my kitchen is really small and I have very little counter space. If you have counter space I would definitely get the larger one. Enjoy!! :thumbsup2

I got Dh the Elite for Christmas, he is in love. I got a deal on the Mini not too long ago so I got it as a back up. We used te mini when we were in Vermont over Memorial weekend. We were in the Green Mountians and so every room had a Mini in the room. He very much enjoyed that.

I don't think wither way y oucan go wrong. He too likes the Green Mountian Breakfast Blend but then again he's had so many different ones and has enjoyed them all.

I think this is his favorite gift ever except for maybe XM Radio.

Add to the list of Keurig lovers - we like strong coffee and our favorites include: newman's extra bold, revv, dietrich's french roast, kahlua, green mountain donut shop chocolate donut is our newest favorite.

I also love making tea - lots of tea k-cups available from various makers - I'm getting spoiled not having to wait for the kettle to boil.

we make mocha's using 1 hot chocolate kcup and 1 coffee kcup =- soo good

LOVE IT!!
I have the Platinum I think it is......and I would buy a sample pack to try. Anything from Green Mountain is usually very good! We like the Timothy's donut blend.....but we don't like really strong coffee either. Anyone that comes over usually loves it too!
You will LOVE it!;)

I bought one for my DH for Christmas. He says it's the best gift anyone has ever given him. He likes strong coffee and his favorite is Jet Fuel. I like the Donut House coffee.

You will love it.

My husband bought me one for my birthday in January. It has since stopped working :confused3 any advice before I try to call the manufacturer?

Haven't had that happen so no advice, but they do have great customer service and back their product so I think if you call you will be taken care of. Ours came with a small crack in the water resovoir. It was usable but they overnighted a new part and 2 cases of Kcups for our "troubles." It was way more then we expected but nice!

Our special edition model that we got around Christmas stopped making full cups of coffee. I called Keurig, and they shipped a new entire maker that day. I just have to send back a small part from our original maker.

Just call them.

I got mine at Costco around late Jan and I think it is the "Select" model. There was a huge design issue with this model and most of them bought around the Christmas season either didn't work out of the box (like mine) or stopped working after a few months. They would not dispense the right amount and often shut off for no reason.

They have supposedly fixed the problem. The first replacement they sent me was the same as the first, but they sent me another one and it has been working fine-- it is supposed to be from the redesigned batch. By the time I called they stopped requiring that anything be sent back. There were so many of them that were faulty that I am sure it was getting way to expensive for them.

So I do finally have one that works (keeping my fingers crossed) and also have 2 complete machines that don't work. What the heck am I supposed to do with those???? DH is holding on to them for parts. But we are also holding on to the box. Since I got it from Costco if this one gives us any trouble I will probably just return it. It is way to expensive of an appliance to have had that many problems.

So if you have a problem, call them. They are well aware that one entire model was defective when it was manufactured and will very happily replace it. They also sent me about 4 extra boxes of coffee for my trouble.

And I love that I can make iced tea with it! I don't even bother with the tea Kcups. I just put a tea bag in where the Kcup is supposed to go and turn it on! I got it more because of the iced tea setting than for coffee, but we love it for both.

We have the Platinum one and we love it. :goodvibes

Im heading to Kohls today too with my 30% off. I like the green mountain breakfast blend too. I dont like it too strong.

My DD and I love the French Vanilla, my DH and other DD love the Donut House Chocolate Glazed Donute. We all like the Cafe' Escapes Dark Chocolate Hot Cocoa. I buy mine at BB&B with the five dollar coupons.

My DD would like to try the tea's any good recommendation?

We also LOVE LOVE LOVE our Keurig! We've had ours for over a year and a half now (almost two years) and love having it. We recently stopped drinking coffee (I never really liked it and DH was up to over 6 cups a day - it was screwing up his sleep patterns, so he quit), but we still use it (at least once a day) for tea. The first year alone I'm convinced that we saved enough money by not going out for coffee to pay for the machine!

DH really liked the Tully's coffee K-Cups and the Newman's Own ones, but he likes his coffee pretty strong (he even brewed it on the middle setting and not the large one! ;)). I really like the Bigelow Breakfast Blend, Green Tea and I Love Lemon (add a little lemon juice and honey if you have a sore throat - it's great!). It's easier to find the Bigelow teas in Canada (I also drink Twinings, but it's harder to find them up here for some reason).

We also have the K-cup thing where you fill it yourself with your own coffee. While it's nice to have (especially if you're picky about the coffee you drink), they are a bit more of a hassle.

If you're big tea drinkers, remember that you can also "brew" hot water (with no K-cup in the slot) with tea bags or loose tea. While we do keep tea K-cups around, we rarely use them - we use loose tea or tea bags more often (I realize that then you have to wait for the tea to brew so it kinda defeats half of the purpose of the time saving :thumbsup2). We often make our own ice tea using two tea bags and then pour over ice.

We also use the hot water for soaking ramen and rice noodles too, which is nice to not have to plug in a kettle.
