I am adventurous in my cooking, so I watched the clip to see what this new "recipe" was all about. I have never watched this show, and don't watch reality TV programming. Not that I find it beneath me, just that DH generally controls the remote while I prefer to read in the evenings, so
he watches the toothless-heavy-accent-can't-understand-them-crocodile-turtle-swamp-hunting-pawn-shop-car-rehab guy shows and I eventually look up during the newscast!
First, the recipe, it won't be added to my repertoire

. But, we all eat something someone else dislikes. I happen to love Brussel Sprouts with pepper and butter, DH hates the smelly little cabbages!
What really bothered me was the comment on how they don't enforce table manners, and no one in that family seems to think table manners are important. I don't care if you live in a city or live in the backwoods, at some point you will be eating around other people, and table manners will come into play! I am not bothered if they eat food that I don't like, but having some semblance of proper public manners is important in society.
Disclaimer - I haven't watched the show, so please forgive me if I am offbase and this family is actually a polite, well mannered group of people. With this short clip, it is not what I saw, so my first impression may be incorrect!
