Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy

I recently heard that Kermit & Piggy are no longer doing meet-and-greets at MGM because the Henson family insisted that they be pulled (and that the Henson family still has say what Disney does and doesn't do with the Muppets) and that they want to take a new direction with them by having them appear as puppets (as we see them on television and in movies) rather than as full-body walk-around characters.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Will those two ever go back to doing sets?

I know that they still appear in the Stars and Motorcars Parade every day, though.

The rumor "Why" sounds fishy. I got pictures with them 2 years ago but when I asked about them in November, the Cm with Kim Possible said they definitely won't be out.

Last time I saw either was Kermit meeting in the front of the park, last April at MGM. I was thinking I haven't heard of anyone seeing them recently, so I was starting to wonder, too.

Last time for us was in June, 2005. We saw Miss Piggy at the MGM entrance.

I'm so envious. Out of all my visits to DW, I've never met Miss Piggy or Kermit. I would love to meet them one day.
