Although we can't afford to go backuntil 2013 I was playing my favourite game of pricing up trips :rolleyes1 and have found a price with Kenwood Travel that is £840 cheaper than booking direct with VA and Disney for 2 weeks in July 2012. This is for 4 adults staying at OKW with DDP and economy flights on VA. I also included car hire

While pleasantly surprised, I'm also a little suspicious so has anyone booked with Kenwood before? and is this sort of saving usual?

Thanks
Paul

I've not heard of Kenwood Travel and i'm a TA but that doesn't mean much really.

What i have noticed myself is the flight costs for Orlando for early next September have dropped a lot over the last 48 hours. I looked for myself on Continentals option from Edinburgh via Newark to Orlando and on Wednseday it was over £700 each , today just over £400.

Looks like a short sale on till 15th November , coincidentaly the day Disney stop their offers for next year so i'm hoping to get a booking done in the next week or so :)

I've booked with them before and got a great price. We ended up cancelling but due to them, I've heard nothing but positive things about them from other people. :thumbsup2

We went with them in Feb 09 and it was £1300 cheaper than Virgin even taking off my 10% discount. That was for the same Virgin flight, hotel and car.
One of the e tickets had a spelling mistake and they corrected it whilst I was on the phone and waited until I'd got their new e-mail. They even booked our seats for us when I booked (13 months before) and we did get the same seats.
We dealt with Pam and she was brilliant :goodvibes

Thanks for the advice and comments, I'll keep an eye on their prices......roll on 2013!!

We used them in Oct 2009 for a trip to Jamaica.

Great value and great service.

I'd book with them again without any worries.

go for it!

Katie

Wish i'd not read this, makes me want to go even more, think i'll go price it up and see if I can twist DH's arm.

I seriously love you guys

I was starting to get so depressed with the prices I was getting for October 2012, but I have just run the price for two weeks at AKL on kenwood travel and it comes out over £2,000 cheaper than both disney and virgin :)

Thank you

great news :thumbsup2

:confused3 ok confession time regarding my earlier post. I made a couple of errors when running our holiday plan on Kenwood travels website and when i re ran it at home the saving was nearer £200 than £2,000. I got so excited when i did the first quick quote, but we all make mistakes and a saving is a saving after all.

Not sure whether to wait till Feb 2013 instead of going Oct 2012 as it's even cheaper in feb :) decisions decisions.
