I'm thinking of "downgrading" an upcoming trip from DLH to one of the GNHs to save money and extend the stay. In doing this, I may go somewhere that allows pets and would take my Bichon Frise with me.

If I do this, and I park at one of the Disney lots/structures, will they allow me to walk her through DTD or take the tram from the parking areas so I can get to the side with the kennel?

Also, Premium AP gets free parking, right? Do I just show my pass on entry? Any time I've stayed since going AP I've stayed on property and parked at the hotel.

As always, thanks for any help.

You can take her on the tram w/o a problem--just keep her sitting on the floor or if she's small, on your lap. I have friends with service dogs and they ride the tram all the time. Also, you will need proof of vaccinations in order to board her at the kennels. They're going up to $20 a day, I think. And yes, your PAP gives you free parking--just show it to the CM at the booth.

I have a small shih-poo and we have walked through downtown disney several times with no problem. My boyfriend did have one security guard ask us to move (not leave) but it was while I was running (actually walking :rotfl: ) the Disneyland half marathon and downtown Disney was packed.

Hope this helps.
