My mom is going to take my boys to KSC for a day, but its been SOOO long since I have been, I cant give her any suggestions. You all were so helpful when I was planning my trip to Disney. Please Help.

We just got back. We had a great time at KSC. We spent two days there and were able to see everything but did not spend as much time as we would have liked at the Hall of Fame. We got there early so we did not have a wait for anything. The food selection is not great and expensive so we took a picnic lunch. There are tables at the front of the parking lot. My boys are 9,9 and 7. Their favorites were the space shuttle launch ride, the bus tour and the 3-D movies. The youngest liked the bus tour the best because he could see alligators! Hope this helps.

Beware the food was expensive and awful. I to just got back from there. I would bring a picnic lunch with me are eat somewhere offsite.

Especially if they have any interest in astronomy, they will enjoy the KSC.
It may take more than one day if they also plan on seeing all of the Hall of Fame too, which if memory serves closes fairly early in the evening.
