Kenmore freezer

Any Diser own a Kenmore Freezer? I bought one tonight at the Sears friends and family event. Hope it's reliable.

I just bought a Kenmore freezer at that event last night as well. I don't have any experience with Kenmore freezers or fridges yet, but I have had several other Kenmore appliances and I've been very happy with them.

Sears doesn't actually make any of their own Kenmore stuff, but other major manufacturers make it for Sears and then just put the Kenmore name on it. In my case I got a 13.7 CF frost free upright freezer and I noticed an identical 13.7 Frigidaire freezer at another store, so I believe that mine was made by Frididaire. I don't know if all of the Kenmore freezers are made by them or not, but it's quite possible.

Kenmore is a fabulous brand! They are actually made by other high end name brands. I cant recall which one. That being said I have had a large upright freezer for 8 years now and its like brand spankin new. I love that it has a warning on it where it beeps if the temp gets too low. Great if you have lil ones around always getting into it... and a key..a must have if you have little ones around. Mine also has quick freeze love that too. I am sure you will have it for a VERY Long time.

We've had our Kenmore chest freezer for about two years and we are very happy. The only problem that we had, not Kenmore's fault, was when our power when out due to Ike. We had no problems after the power returned and it refroze quickly.

Kenmore is a great brand. My dh parent's use to have a Sears Catalog store so we have had alot of Kenmore products over the years! We had a freezer (upright) for over 20 yrs.
