Kellog's pins and flying out of TF Green Airport (RI) with Pins

does anyone know if you can still get the Kellogs pin at DTD in WDW?


Also has anyone recently flew out of TF Green Airport in Rhode Island with pins? I will be flying out of there on the 19th and would like an idea of what to expect besides the extra time for checking all the metal in my bag?
I am planning on having it seperate from my carry on and already opened figuring they will want to check it!!

I had pins in my checked bag last time I flew through Prov. and had no problem. No delay at all.

I couldn't get those darn pins at DTD in October or January. I finally just mailed in the certificates.

I was able to get the cereal pins earlier this month but I hear they go pretty fast.

We fly out of Green a few times a year to WDW. Each time through has been a different experience. One time I got a fellow collector and although she wanted to look at my pins, couldn't take the time. Another time I got a man who insisted on opening every single page. My pins are displayed in my books on pieces of cork, with no backs. He gave me a great deal of trouble, telling me they were dangerous, without backs. I finally got through but it was a hassel. Other times we've gone right through.....go figure. Please allow yourself plenty of time, especially if you're leaving first thing in the morning. Later in the day is easier. Have a great time!!!
