kelloggs cereal recall

I put this here because many people buy cereal on sale or bought some with the toy story codes in the boxes. I have 2 on the recall list.

Pops, honey smacks, fruit loops and apple jacks are recalled. Something to do with the foil liner bags.

Thanks, I had 6 boxes of recalled cereal. Fortunately, the kids hadn't eaten any of the affected boxes yet.

If you call to report them than be prepared to sit on the phone to listen through the whole list of recalled cereals before being able to give your information for the coupons. We were stocked up on them because of the $1 off one box coupons found on small boxes of the Apple Jacks and Fruit Loops sold at the Dollar Tree.

I am impatient I pressed # to see what would happen. It asked for my phone number and zip code and then asked for boxes purchased and then address.

Can't we just return them to the store? Instead of calling to get a coupon?
Our Meijer is usually pretty good with returning recalled items.

My daughter ate better than 1/2 box. I still have another full one. I feel horrible that she ate 1/2 the box before I saw this post. Thank you very much.

Thanks so much for posting this! We have a box that DS has about finished... again. He had also just finished a whole bottle of one of the recalled allergy meds a month ago. Thankfully he seems to have no ill effects but it really makes me wonder how much stuff we ingest that doesn't quite make a recall list.

I will be paying closer attention and looking into more whole food items and organic.

The cereal is fine, the liner has a smell that is sensitive to some people. We have 8 boxes in the recall in my pantry now from stocking up to get TS3 tickets.

I have 3 of these boxes and the third one is just about gone now. I saved the boxes for the codes and they are all on the recall list. I just figured the off taste was me and the other symptoms were from the ice cream I've been eating in this heat. Mine are all Corn pops and I'm the only one in the house who eats them.

We had the larger boxes with the plastic liner....they weren't listed so I pray they are okay. My oldest is the only one that eats it....the rest of us eat cheapo Malt o Meal bags of cereal LOL
