Kellogg Kash ?

With 2 teenage boys in the house, we go through about 3 boxes a week plus a couple of boxes of eggos! Only 1 of them likes the blueberry ones though, here's hoping Disney starts putting the certificates on the choc. chip soon! I have no idea if we will be able to get together enough before the expiration- but it sure is fun trying. I mentioned it to some of the soccer Moms at this mornings game, they said they would check their cabinets. One of them told me her daughter is in the College Program right now, working the front desk at Pop! The things you find out on the sidelines!

Just FYI, they actually have Frosted Flakes in our area with Kelloggs Kash now. My hubby is so excited!!

Oh that would be SO wonderful! If we could get them on Frosted Flakes, I would 'live' on those until I got enough :p .

Yep! I have 2 teenage sons! Couldn't feed any more guys!! :hyper:

Hey! I just found 8 boxes of Frosted Flakes with these on them!!!! I am SO excited! Thanks for the heads up! I probably wouldn't have even looked if it wasn't posted here (and I am SO sick of Frosted Mini Wheats right now!).

We have them here in Iowa on the FF boxes now too!!!

I still have not received my certificates for nights stay at resorts. Emailed them again and got this reply:

The hotel award vouchers are currently on hold as we await new certificates to arrive at our fulfillment house. The new certificates will have an expiration date of June 2005. We apologize for the delay and will send the vouchers to you as soon as possible.

Has anyone else received their certificates for stay at resorts? Has anyone received phone call from them to make reservations at resorts with Kash credit?

I am so upset. I never even read the boxes mainly because I have two teenage boys too. They the large vegetable serving bowls from my Corning Ware for their cereal AND refill them at least once. I buy the huge double boxes at BJ's and they are gone in a day. I wish I had known I would have had enough points to BUY the All Star Restorts never mind get a free night!!
Well I will start now.

By the way just a question for mothers of teenage boys. What is it with cereal and boys? Why do they eat so much of it? They use it as a meal, appitizer, dessert and/or snack. I have many friends in the same boat. Coming from a family of all girls I was unfamiliar with this. It is really like a phenomenon.

I don't know why that is. If it is the sugar, the fact that it is fast, or what. I'll ask them when they get home from school.

Well I just packages my 100 certificates up and will go to the Post Office tomorrow to mail them. I just bought 50 boxes of cereal this week! Meijers had them for $.99 a box, and I needed 50 more certificates, so I just bought up what I needed. I won't have to buy cereal for a LONG time! :hyper:

Have you received or heard anything yet?

Wow, I hope you guys hear something soon on the certificates! Please keep the boards posted. We are having fun collecting these things- we're up to 23 in just a month. My Mom and Sis each found one in their cabinets- we've been asking everyone we know! The Big Y had the 12 oz. box of Corn Flakes for only $1 this week! I picked up a few, and then came home and looked up recipes online! You'd be surprised all the things you can do with Corn Flakes! Maybe we should start a recipe swap!!!!

Corn Flake Baked Chicken

7 cups Kellogg's Corn Flakes® cereal (crushed to 1 3/4 cups)
1 egg
1 cup fat-free milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 pounds chicken pieces, (without or with skin) rinsed and dried
3 tablespoons margarine or butter, melted

Place KELLOGG'S CORN FLAKES cereal in shallow dish or pan. Set aside. In medium mixing bowl, beat egg and milk slightly. Add flour, salt and pepper. Mix until smooth. Dip chicken in batter. Coat with cereal. Place in single layer, in shallow baking pan coated with cooking spray or foil lined. Drizzle with margarine OR butter. Bake at 350° F about 1 hour or until chicken is tender, no longer pink and juices run clear. Do not cover pan or turn chicken while baking. Serve hot.
Yield: 6 servings

Since we are staying at Universal and at the Swan, I resorted to selling mine on eBay!!! I did very well on my first auction, which was for 50 of them.

This time around I only have 30 so I doubt they will go as high. I think people want that big jump start to the Nascar Driving Experience or the hotel stay.

We were able to get several items with the program - CD, backpack, etc.

Thanks mtblujeans for the recipe! I showed your post to my DS(17) last night - when I got home from work today, he had put together a version of the recipe (nugget style) for our dinner tonight! Yum! They only needed about 20 min. to cook, which was nice because it 's been pretty warm here the last couple of days. If tomorrow is cooler, I just may try one of the cookie recipes I found the other day. I'd like to be the guinnea pig first- if they come out good, I'll post the recipe!

jgates-- You must have started collecting your Kash when the program 1st started. Do you remember when that was? I wish I had started earlier!

I was thinking maybe last September? It seems like it was still decent out. I won in early december for the backpack etc.

FYI,

I e-mailed them about the expiration dates. No luck in using them after they expire. I asked them if I could trade them for kash with a later expiration date than 12/31/04. They said "no" of course.

I didn't really think they would, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
