:hourglass 40 more days for me! :cool1: :cheer2:

Today I went to Disney Online and made arrangements for my younger two DDs to recieve Enchanted Calls from their favorite princesses the night before we leave. I think that will really add to their excitment. So much so that they may not be able to sleep that night! :goodvibes

I also ordered a t-shirt for DS, and p.j.'s and sweatshirts for my DDs from Disney Shopping that I will give them that night as well.

Just looking for ways to keep the excitement going! :Pinkbounc

I went to disneyprincess.com and under the main menu there is a place to click on for Enchanted Calls. Each call is $2.49 and you choose the category. For example birthday, congratulations, good morning/good night, etc. There are 8 princesses to choose from and, of course Mickey too if you have a boy who wouldn't be impressed with a phone call from a princess. You enter in the child's name and other info such as the day and time you want, which can be rescheduled BTW if need be. You can order them for other people and there is a place to fill out who it's from. They also send you an e-mail reminder the day before. They have a sample you can listen to before you place your order, and more complete directions on the website.

I have never done this before but have always wanted to cause it sounds so cute. And I finally thought what better than to have my girls favorite princess call them the night before our trip and tell them good night. Like I said I think they'll get a real kick out of it. ;)

thank you for the info, mommaU4, this sounds sooo cute!!! :goodvibes
BTW, have a great vacation ! :flower:

The count down continues.... :hourglass
Today I am going to order some Disney stamps for my kids/myself to use when we get back to write letters to family members who didn't go with us on the trip and tell them all about it. (I know there's e-mail but this is good writing practice for them!)

I am also going to buy some Disney stickers for them to use to decorate their journals they will be keeping on the trip for homework. Those they'll get in the car on the way down. Something else to keep them entertained!

And finally I am going to do some research on how to scrapbook and where to buy Disney scrapbooking supplies because I've never done it before but I want to put together one after this trip!

All these little things help keep up my excitement level and more importantly, help pass the time!!!

just wondering which princesses are your daughters favorites? who will they be expecting calls from? :)

The site where you order the phone call from has the princesses pics so I had my twin DD5 pick one. I didn't say what it was for and they couldn't read it. I just said if you could talk to one of them which would it be. One chose Jasmine and the other Sleeping Beauty. princess:

I had to get this out there for someone, anyone to read, because I'm so excited! It's getting closer. I went to the Home Depot today and got my lime green mickey's!!

I also made dining reservations or priority seating (whatever it's called) at Whispering Canyon Cafe and Prime Time Cafe.

Also started wrapping little toys and trinkets to give to kids in the car on long ride there.

The countdown continues............ :hourglass

We are under 40 days, too! I am so excited, 38 more to go! :Pinkbounc

Hope you have a safe & magical trip! May I suggest listening to either Live365 or Subsonic radio for Disney music to keep you in that Disney mood? :earsgirl:

Have a magical time at WDW,good idea's on keeping things exciting. :cool1:  :cheer2:

Here's an idea! They sell self-mailing Disney stationary at the post office. there are 4 different designs in a package. You could have their favorite characters mail them a note every once and a while saying they are looking forward to seeing them soon. I used them to invite my kids to their ADR's---lunch at Sci Fi, lunch at Akershus, etc.

They loved them!

PS--I even learned to sign like Mickey--that took a while and killed some time before our trip!
