We leave for Disney Sunday morning. I've looked at the weather and it is going to be beautiful down there! The mornings will be chilly, as will the evenings I'm sure. So I came up with a plan that I thought would work but dh thinks is silly. My girls are the ones that get cold the fastest and they would be in the stroller much of the time, especially in the evenings, so walking isn't going to produce a lot of heat for them lol. Well I figured that once it got chilly in the evenings I could take them and change them into their night clothes. Its a pair of pants and a long sleep shirt with princesses all over...so they would still be in the spirit lol. But I figure I would also be killing 2 birds with 1 stone because not only will they be warm but they will be ready for bed. When we were there in Sept the often fell asleep on the bus ride back to the resort. I could then just put them straight in bed once we got back to the room.

Ok so is my idea silly or practical?

Thanks for your thoughts.

I think it is a wonderful idea. They would be warm and toasty, in Disney attire, and ready for bed! I just wouldn't give them anything messy or sticky while in their PJs! Have a great trip:)

I think it's a great idea! We did this with DS on our last cruise - went back to the room and changed him into pj's before going to the evening show. Everyone thought he was adorable in his footy pj's! Just be sure and take some wet wipes for a wipe-down in case it's been a grubby park day.

Great idea! What do dh's know anyway? I'm planning on bringing my dd's nightgown (princess, of course) with us each evening for our April trip. I figure she can change (and brush her teeth too) before fireworks/parade and she can snooze on the bus back to the resort. Once there, pop her into bed.

If you get any "looks", it'll probably be from other moms thinking "why didn't I do that?"

My first thought was, just dont give them anything stickey/runny/messy. But, yes I think it is a great idea!

:thumbsup2

Thanks! I will be sure to pack them in our park bag each morning. As for the comment on bringing the wipes....I never leave home without them LOL And I will be sure to stear clear of the sticky messy stuff, especially since I will most likely have to share the bed with my 3yo
