We plan to wear ponchos to keep from getting drenched. Is there somewhere we can put our park bag on the raft? I imagine it will be a medium sized tote bag.

Thank you!

Wear your poncho's and make sure you put your hood on. Some on this ride will get very wet, some only a little. On a hot October day we all rode this ride DD had planned well. We all had poncho's but DD forgot to put her hood on. Her side went right under the falls. All the water went down her poncho. Yes she got very, very, wet. DH did not wear a poncho and stayed dry.

There is a center storage area that zips up. For the most part things stay dry. I take a plastic bag, tie up everything in the bag, then put it in the center. All my things stay dry.

Lots of people wear their bathing suits then change after.

The bathing suit idea is great for children.

Thanks for this idea! Can't wait to try it with DD and DS!

There is a covered bin in the center of the raft, but everybody on the raft gets to use it. Whether or not your bag will fit depends on the size of it. If worse comes to worse, you could carry it on your lap under the poncho.
BTW, I always wear a poncho on Kali. There's about a 50/50 chance of getting soaked to the skin or just a sprinkle. I found that if I wear the poncho, Murphy's Law protects me and soaks the people on the other side of the raft!

If you don't want your shoes and feet to get wet, I've found that putting your feet up on the railing on the bottom of the center section during the ride to work well. So far it has kept my feet dry every time, even when I ended up going backwards on the final drop and getting drenched everywhere else. It may not work all the time, since the water really goes all over the place, but it would most likely keep them dryer than if they were on the floor of the boat.
