Keeping a Christmas tree up year round

I've got a 3 foot purple Christmas tree that is up. Changes decorations with the hoildays.
St. Patrick's day green was the oddest color mix thus far.

I mean, honestly, who ever heard of a purple Christmas tree:confused3

I'm sure my neighbors are talking about me.

My Christmas wreath is still up!! It's not on my front door but on the side wall next to it. I kept forgetting about it and then when I went to throw it away, a bird had started to make a nest in it. Now my DGS's have seen it and I don't have the heart to toss it. So, now I guess I'll have to wait until the chicks are born and fly away.
Our Christmas wreath was on our chimney till a couple of days ago when the wind knocked it down.

In our defense, it's been pretty snowy, icy, slushy, slippery here since Christmas, so I didn't want DH going up on a ladder and I can let wreaths "slide" a little because I consider them a winter decoration more than a purely Christmas decoration.

A Christmas tree is a Christmas tree though.

I have a hot pink tree for my office! With bright ornaments. I :lovestruc it.

My SIL left one up year round, in the family room. She decorated it differenlty each month.

I have one that hangs on the wall. It gets redecorated every season w/ Smores. I have Easter ones, summer ones, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas/Winter.

I used to live in a military town. Many homes had trees up while there loved ones were deployed. They waited and celebrated Christmas when the returned.

I have a wall tree as well; I inherited it from my grandmother. I usually have it decorated with sports-related stuff during that particular season (it's all in blue & gold now for Blues hockey; in a little while, it'll be red and white for the Cardinals). My grandmother always got such a huge kick out of decorating it for each holiday or season that I can't bear not to have it up and "done."
