We found out yesterday that my son is going to be one of the Leeds United mascots against Bournemouth tonight.

Leeds despatched a kit for him by next day delivery ready to wear tonight on pitch. DHL though can't find the parcel in their systems.

Have taken today off to wait in for the parcel and am now in major panic mode. We have the old kit but really wanted him to wear the current one like the team.

Fingers crossed DHL will get it sorted.

Now what do I wear to meet the lovely Dennis Wise. Decisions, decisions.

Great news, keeping fingers crossed for you. This is so spooky as my friend told me today that his daughter has been picked to be the mascot for Tottenhams game this weekend against Wigan. Hope they both have a great time

Kit turned up - unfortunately at 4pm today!!! God knows where its been!

Spent yesterday afternoon trying to find his Leeds socks only to pick him up from school wearing them! Unfortunately they are white (or would have been if it wasn't for the mud!). Had to quickly scrub them and then dry them with the hairdryer!!!

He had a great time (well I think he did - when I asked him what he did he couldn't remember!). Got all glammed up for Dennis Wise and waited patiently as all the players got on the coach only to find that he'd snuck out the back door! Grrr!
