Just got back from a wonderful trip and we used the DDp for the first time. We loved it but are credits got messed up a couple of times. The last day we still had 8 cs left and 8 snack credits left. We eat breakfast and we were done eating it showed we had 5 cs credits left and 8 snack. When we bought a snack that day it showed we had only had five left not 7. Not a big deal because we really did not need all of them so did not say anything. Then at lunch we went to use 4 cs and they said we only had three left. I don't understand since when we got done buying breakfast that morning we had five. We had not used any other credits that day. They finally gave us 1 cs credit so we could all get our food. So just keep track of your credits so you will know how many you have left. All in all we loved the DDp and will do it again.

Our best meal was Kona's!

That almost sounds like someone found one of your room keys and started using it towards the end of your trip.

I agree! I'm currently at WDW and yesterday we noticed that we had one less snack credit than we thought we should. Sure enough, we had been charged 3 snack credits for 2 snacks.

It was very easily fixed at the resort concierge desk though, they have a detailed list of what's been used and what hasn't down to the second and were able to fix it in a matter of seconds.

BTW when I'm paying by cash or credit card I always check my receipts/change so I'm no really complaining. DDP is no different with credits. I WAS rather surprised that they could charge 3 snack credits for 2 snacks... I guess I assumed the computer knew how many snacks were purchased and took off the appropriate number of credits but it seems like the CM has to tell it how many credits to remove and mistakes will happen.

We had the same issues, Le Cellier took our 2 credits twice. I got it easily fixed at the front desk though. There was a strange code that they had to figure out but it was no problem to fix. I also had questions on my snack credits after using it for ice cream, it looked like I should have had more. They were able to pull it up and tell me exactly where I used them and I confirmed that the credits were correct.
It is much easier to fix it at the hotel than the location.

I couldn't agree more, you have to keep track. My DH would never understand as I was calculating points in my head but on two occassions we would have been shorted sit down dining credits by them charging them for my 2 year old, so yes, be very careful.
