Keep Palo res or cancel?

This is EXACTLY what we have - Palo dinner on the 4th night (second sea day, but forth night).

Our Palo reservation is at 8:30 and we have late dining, so that wouldn't work (I'd thought about that for an option, but it's just not possible). We didn't want to miss the show, so we didn't want it early because we might not get done in time for the show. We actually wanted 8pm, but that wasn't available, so we took 8:30 so we can see the early show and then go to Palo.

The first three nights in the main dining rooms are when they do their special "shows". After that, it's basically just dinner.

So now I'm changing my opinion. Do not cancel brunch....it's really good....and go ahead and have a nice, quiet dinner for your honeymoon. You'll enjoy it.

Keep your reservation. When you get onboard, go to StudioSea. They have the list of days and what night is what, include dinner and shows. You can also see the rotation on your KTTW card. They you will have all the information you need. You can cancel or change at that point. I obsessed over not having a reservation before boarding. We went as soon as we boarded, and really had our choice of days and times.

But keep your reservations - it is easier to drop them later than to add them on.

We've never done brunch, but we did do dinner for Palo on our 22nd anniversary in 2009. It can't be beat! The food in the MDR's is great, but the ambience of Palo's is wonderful.

My husband and I enjoy fine dining. We eat at Palo as many nights as we can manage to book because the food, in our opinion, is that much better than the main dining room. It's cooked to order, rather than mass cooked - which we think is always superior.

I think even if the menu looked "better" in the main dining room, I would still pick Palo becuase it's cooked to order and should be higher quality.

I also love the service and the atmosphere at Palo. Never feel rushed and never sit around waiting for the next course to appear.

It's all a matter of personal preference, of course.
