I was super excited to get an ADR for breakfast at CRT. However, now as the rush has worn off, I'm second-guessing my decision to spend 150.00 on breakfast for 3 of us. I know you are paying for the experience and you also get pictures with it. Can those of you who have been there tell me about your experiences and if you are glad you spent the money, even though it's a lot? My kids are DD14 and DS11. My DD is excited and my DS is just "ehhh".

I think if your DD is excited at 14, there is is no price too high! That is sweet!bv

We went for lunch and loved it. Lunch only costs a few dollars more than breakfast, but the food seemed so much more substantial.

I loved Major Domo's Favorite Pie - shredded beef simmered in rich cabernet sauce, served with mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetables, crowning a light pastry. Yum!

Also, I loved the atmosphere of the castle, visits from the princesses, and the photo package. My DD4 loved it, too.

The castle is special and everyone should have a meal there some time or another, but I can understand feeling like that's a lot of money for breakfast. And your children are older. But if your DD thinks it sounds like fun and you can afford it, then I would do it. It is a special place and could be a great start to a magical day with your children. I cannot believe how quickly they grow up....

Definitely keep it until you are 100% sure you don't want to go!

KEEP IT! If you've never done this, you need to do it at least once. So do it, but stop looking at it as $150 for breakfast. You're paying for the entire experience, not for a plate of eggs. I have heard people on the boards talk about it that way, and I just don't get it. The photo package cost around $30 back when it wasn't included. And do you have any idea it would be to stalk that many princesses throughout the park???????? It's a lifesaver to just have them come by your table!

Keep it!!!! Its one of our fav places to eat at Disney :goodvibes

WOW ~ see that gal above me posting? She is SUPPOSED TO BE DOING LAUNDRY RIGHT NOW :lmao:

We went for breakfast and loved it! I have 2 boys ages 2 & 6 and they loved it! We r going again this summer and CRT is a must for us. The atmosphere is really good and the food is excellent. I figure...yes, its a lot of money to spend on breakfast but it is a once in a life time thing to do (or twice for us:)) My boys and I love telling people we ate in cinderellas castle. My hubby enjoyed it too.

Your kids r alot older than mine so just do what u feel comfortable with. I figure we spend hundreds on disney, whats one more to have a magical breakfast.

We also love chef mickeys. That too is a must for us!

Good Luck!

Keep it - your 11 year old son will enjoy the princesses! They are so pretty and they will pay special attention to him. ;) My DS was 10 last time we were there and he didn't mind having his picture made with them at all.

Because of the dining plan we were able to do CRT on one of our recent trips. I was 20 at the time and it was probably one my favorite parts of the trip. The food was pretty average but the cost was totally worth it to eat in the castle and the experience.

Keep it!!! :goodvibes We are doing the CRT Breakfast in July and my DD17 AND DS15 are looking forward to it. :thumbsup2 Not to mention myself!!

Is the cost not $32 an adult? Are there other fees not listed on the CRT info.

totall keep it! i wish i could get a ressie - i've tried for all of our four trips in teh past year - nada - it's my own fault for planning last minute trips! have fun!
