Running a fever last night and super tired today so no workout today :(. I hate that when I seem to get into my groove something comes up. Such is life I guess. I skipped th family breakfast taco run this morning so that's good I guess about being sick - lack of appetite!

Two rounds of C25K yesterday on the treadmill. I ran 20 minutes straight for the first time and did my first under 40 minute 5K. I had a total of 105 minutes.

75 min run. Still can't decide if I should do a 10k next weekend or just sleep in! Lol. A decent 10k would give me a nice time to submit to Disney for a possible tink/princess registration next month and take some of the pressure off my September 10k race. On the other hand, its supposed to rain..... I haven't signed up yet so I wouldn't be losing money. And we could cut one night from our hotel stay and save money....

For those of you doing Ripped, can you share how you like it so far? I'm very intrigued.

I did Ripped week 1 workout today for the first time. I have to say that I loved 30 Day Shred. So, doing this first week of Ripped wasn't as difficult of a workout as the one I just finished on 30ds week 3. But, I really enjoyed it. It's the same principle as 30ds. It's 3 rounds and each round is called 3-2-1. You do 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of abs. Each round is different. I think I like it because it is such a good workout (it's total body for every move) in a short time. So, I have no excuse. I can find 27 minutes to do these Jillian workouts at some point in time during the day. Try it out! I think you'll enjoy it. DS6 asked me daily if I was shredded :lmao: and I definitely am more toned. I didn't really lose weight doing 30ds, but I did lose a couple inches :thumbsup2

Which 10k are you thinking of doing? Is it a local (Pitts) race? DS10 and I are doing a 5k on Wednesday here. Unfortunately I didn't pay attention when I registered us, and it's also the day of his 4th grade field trip to Heinz Field and on the Gateway Clipper. They won't get back here until 4:30-5:00 and the race is at 7:00. I think he'll be walking more than running!

27 minute dvd
25 minutes yoga
15 minutes of walking

Total=399/900

Thanks :)

I'm thinking of running the 10k in cleveland That is part of their marathon's events. I lived there for a while and think it would be cool to run a race there now. And I'll be there that weekend anyhow so I really should just do it.... Sounds like a great field trip for your son, even if you don't make your 5k. I love downtown pgh stuff!

Thanks for the info on ripped- I love 30ds but am battling a shoulder issue right now so the arms parts are too much for me. Hopefully it will heal quickly so I can try this series too!

60 min zumba class and 75 mins swimming with the kiddos and 16 mins wiifit yoga

Hey Figs - re: pink C2C. I don't think so. Even Tink is going to be financially iffy - got 2 kids starting college this Fall, so I suspect I'll decide to run a local half rather than spend the $$ for Tink, altho I haven't cancelled my room yet and I'm holding out for a bit. How exciting for you if you do both!

5/10 - walked the dog, 40 minutes
5/11 - walked to pass time before 3rd soccer game started, 16 min

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL YOU MOMS!!:love:

So much going on it has been hard to fit exercise in!

I am crushed! Since February I have been doing a plank a day (thanks, Pamela) and in 2013 I have been doing sit ups every night (thanks, Rose). Last night I started my situps and realized I couldn't remember doing them Friday night!! I asked DH and he said, "Nope." What?!!! Why didn't he remind me? I just completely forgot. DS1 came home for Mother's Day weekend and I think I was just a space case. But I'm moving on! Did them last night and will do them tonight and won't beat myself up for one missed day.

I was grumbling in my mind because on Friday my walking group (of which I am the youngest by a couple decades!) was soooo slow it was driving me crazy. But heck, I got ten extra minutes to add! :rotfl2:

Hope everybody has a good, active week.
