When I call CRO they say that it says "DO NOT" email me on my account.
I successfully get it changed to receive emails under everyone's name in my family. The next day when I call, my account says "DO NOT EMAIL ME " again.

This is frustrating. Has anyone ever had this problem. I've had it changed at least 4 times already.

Thanks for any input.

I'm having the problem with my email address. Every time I call and they confirm my email address, it's wrong. I've corrected them four times now. It's frustrating since I would really love to receive a code of some sort and they keep trying to confirm a wrong email address for me!

I would go to the Disney site and just make a new account with the right info.

Thanks for posting this... I just checked my account and guess what - I had do no email there as well. I am pretty certain that I had not checked that in the past. I obviosuly want a pin code!!!

Thanks again!

I tried that with no success. Somehow, it knows!:confused3: I even had Guest Services creat a new account for our household...no luck there, either.

I had the same issue with my account and I fought it for about a year. I had to email back and forth with Guest Services several times. Finally, someone from Disney called and said the problem was corrected. When I call, the CM tells me that it is not on the account...but I'm still not getting any mail or email!

I've had the same issue and have had it corrected numerous times by GS at DRC and the next day I'm back to "do not email" status. If I look at my online account it says "yes" to "do I want to receive emails" but in their system it's wrong. I gave up last year as they couldn't seem to fix it and it was just frustrating to have no resolution to this problem. Who wouldn't want to receive an email for a discount? I'd even accept any spam because of it. We've changed computers and operating systems twice, plus I don't have any blockers that would cause an email to be turned off via my own home computer. I have two accounts, one at work and one at home with two emails...no luck. ---Kathy

"Do Not Email" and " Do Not Mail" was checked off again today. Why oh why does this happen.

All my online accounts say "yes send me everything" :headache:

I have been fighting this battle for over 7 years now. I would actually cry. I now have given up. They had even had their system analysis call me and say finally it's fixed and wiyhin 3 days back to the wrong e-mail address and Do not send e-Mails. I know how Frusterating this is. We have made 17 trips within 10 years and they still can't get it right? I am now past the anger and the trying to fix it I just have resigned myself to the fact that as Big as a company WDW is they still run things Mickey Mouse. (pun intended) and hundreds of CM's over the years have been Wonderful as far as trying to fix us correctly in the system and with every call have really believed that they had but like many others know within a few days were right back to the same old wrong e-mail and Do Not send e-mails? I am so much more Happier that I gave up. Now I just wait for general codes or use my AP or AAA for discounts. I just wanted to say I Feel Your Pain. I once thought It was just me that this happened to....
Chatty:confused3

regarding this. I did receive a response back and the following day I was able to change it.

From what others have said though, it might not make a difference. It seems the changes go back to the wrong way for alot.

I happened to recieve an email today from Disney. It had a PIN in it, but we won't be using it. But it came in my old last name. I didn't even know I ever registered before I was married. I get stuff addressing my new family name, so it was weird that they had that name as well. They are both the same email too.

I emailed disney about this email problem and it seems to be fixed. When I call , my account consistently indiacates "yes I want to receive offers through email. "

Still, no code emails for me. ;)

Lots of people NEVER recieve codes and have been signed up for years. No one knows why some do and some don't.

No matter what I do, I keep getting listed as a FL Resident & getting the FL Resident email all the time.

I am not in FL, never have lived there, but everytime a new FL Resident email comes up, it winds up in my inbox.

I have emailed, I have called, I done everything I can think of. And then another FL Resident email comes to my inbox.

I have asked if it coudl affect me getting a code & some of the CMs have gotten very nasty saying codes are at Disney's discretion, blah blah, blah. When I remind the CM, I did not ask FOR a code, merely if me being listed as a FL Resident would affect me getting a general code, they back off & some have said they are not sure, but they are still snippy.

It is very frustrating.

I've had to have them change my Phone # four or five times in their system. And called yesterday and it was wrong again!

I updated me e-mail address a year ago when we changed Internet providers yet everything still goes to the old e-mail address (the old Internet provider never canceled the account so I still get the occasional e-mail there, usually just the Disney Store sale du jour e-mail). When I log in to my account, it shows me new e-mail address but the e-mails don't get sent to it, they get sent to the old e-mail address. I e-mailed Disney and they supposedly fixed it, saying some preference wasn't checked, but nothing's changed. I gave up since I didn't think I'd ever get anywhere. Sounds like I'm not alone. :sad2:
