Keep forgetting dining discounts !!

We didn't stay at OKW this time so our card didn't show DVC Member. We forgot to ask for the member discount at 3 different (and costly) meals

I would remind DH each time before we headed over, but each time we would remember the next morning. I hate that!!!

This just drives me nuts--bargain hunter that I am.

I know the feeling....

generally remember to mention the DVC or DDE after I leave....

so this time I am taking the all ears discounts with me and putting it in my purse - so when I take my money, ID, or cc out - it will come out too - well that is the plan....

I have my member card at the top of my wallet, so I actually have to go past that to get to my credit card or room key. That's one way of remembering.

Right after it, I have my DDE card to get that discount.

It would drive me nuts too after putting a quick pencil to paper! Good luck on that memory thing for future trips.

I suffer from CRS (Can't Remember Stuff) and am consoled knowing that I am not the only one on the planet who forgets these things! I like Granny's strategy.

The only way I could remember was to actually take the DDE (or DVC) card out of my wallet and have it in my hand when we sat down for dinner. Then I would put it on the table in front of me so I wouldn't forget.

Now, the thing I forget is where exactly I can and can't use some of the discounts! It's really hard to keep track when you have DDE, DVC, AP, AAA, and the Disney Visa...

now I really feel stupid...
