I would be over the moon with 1.50, at the moment I am happy for it just to stay above 1.4
Look on travelmoneyservices.co.uk at the moment you can buy the $ forward at $1.50 to the £ for 3/6/09 until mid August!

Oh No! I get a bonus in 2 weeks and it's paid to me in $ and then converted and added to my wages. I just wanted it to hold off for 2 more weeks and then go up to an all time high for September.

Doesn't the economy know anything about my life :lmao:
Paid in $, living in N Yorkshire, I'm intrigued, who do you work for? I'm from S Yorks. originally, Sheffield to be precise!

Hi Andrea, having checked the website it looked very familair to me. Looks like the same company as Crown currency in the stye of the web page, same rates and they operate from the same address.

We have ordered two lots of money from Crown currency having found many good reviews on the net. Cannot give a final view because my delivery dates are April.

A disclaimer though for anyone interested in using them, they are a independant currency trader and are not bonded in anyway. If they go down you will probably lose all your money....and mine as well!

I've used them succesfully. Although not bonded I'm not sure about the risk. You have essentially bought a future which is a promise to sell currency at a certain rate on a certain date and as such the deal you have isn't really with Crown Currency, it's with some other trader somewhere in the world. I believe CCE shoulder very little of the risk as they are effectively just a broker, I assume taking some sort of percentage skim off the deal and are probably therefore very unlikely to go bust anyway.

That's my understanding rather than fact by the way!

apparently america has started quantitive easing so the value of the dollar should drop. however, as we're going to do the same sterling is likely to also drop :(

I've used them and their sister company Crown Currency at least four times (before I discovered FairFX :lovestruc ) and they have been great, delivered exactly what and when they promised. The customer service people I've spoken to have always been friendly and helpful.

The downside is that you are paying out the money before you actually need to, most of the time I just can't do that so using FairFX with their good rates works better for me.

But if the price was right and I could 'tie up' the cash in advance I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Hi
Has anybody used Crown currency exchange to pre order currency .I am not sure how it works but offering 1.50 in May is tempting to buy .Do you pay today or pay just before you receive very confused .
Any help would be appreciated .
