keep checking airline prices, airtran is dropping!!!!

with hesitation of paying luggage fees , I booked airtran over southwest (it was cheaper and non-stop flights from phila) so far the flights keep going down and I call everytime to get a credit- even if its 9.00 per person - 36.00 for 4 tickets! So now Im up to 140.00 towards my luggage which means @25 a bag we can check in 3 bags each way and only have to pay 10 bucks, not bad, eh? Trip isnt til oct. so maybe it will go down lower? OH and they just added FREE DINING, so Im so happy!!!! Did I mention how happy I am?

That is great news. I wish ours would go down, they just keep going up. I can't complain though, apparently I got the lowest price.

So airtran will offer a credit that can be used toward checking bags if rates go down? That's great to know! For some reason I had it in my mind that only southwest offered a credit if rates changed. Thanks for the heads up!

AirTran charges $20 for the first checked bag, so maybe you can pay for some seats as well!
