DH & I are staying at Poly Jan 16-20 for our honeymoon & paying OOP for meals.

Here is what I have for ADRs:

Kona (lunch) (arrival/MK day)
Wishes dessert party

CRT (breakfast) (MK day)
Nacroossee's (dinner)

Chef Mickey's (breakfast) (Epcot day)
Coral Reef (dinner)

Ohana (breakfast) (AK in the am then not sure)
Le Ceiler (dinner)

We are usually big breakfast/dinner then graze in the middle kind-of people at home, so I figured we'd just snack in the park. I've heard not so great things about Chef Mickey's & Coral Reef. I was thinking of bumping Ohana to Epcot day & then doing Tusker House for breakfast on AK day. Not sure about Coral Reef?! :confused3

This is my first visit & DH's 2nd (last one was in HS band!)

Any suggestions? Ideas?

Here's what I would do. What you get family-style at Ohana is not a whole lot different than what you get at the breakfast buffets (scrambled eggs, mickey waffles, breakfast meats and fruit).

I'd do Tusker House breakfast on your AK day (it gets almost-universally GREAT reviews on these boards). Then, on your Epcot day, see if you can get an Ohana dinner ADR. Dinner there is really yummy and if you add your honeymoon celebration to your ADR, they'll probably make a big deal out of it. A bonus would be getting to watch Wishes from the beach (or your room if you're staying TPV), very romantic!

For sure change your Chef Mickey breakfast to the Ohana one. And the Tusker house breakfast buffet is supposed to be really good.( you might want to consider the Boma breakfast if you can't get Tusker).

Coral Reef does not get very many positive reviews. I went this past Sept despite the reviews and really regretted it. There are some really good Epcot restaurants, so would recommend that you consider changing this one. I would not recommend going all the way back to the Poly for dinner-it would mean cutting your touring day short and not being able to catch Illuminations. Besides, you'll have the chance to see Wishes from the GF dock when you eat at Narcoosees.

I just wanted to say that we had breakfast at Tusker House last Friday, and it was very good - we will go back. I suggest you work that in if you can. Congratulations!

I would avoid Coral Reef...I have eaten there a couple of times (hoping it would get better) and was always disappointed.
