Keep Askerhus or drop?

My family and I are heading down for the Dark Side Challenge Races next month. We just returned from 11 days at Disney in January and had a bunch of reservations and loved most of them. This trip is a quick 5 day trip. We have the Dining Plan and if we keep Askerhus we will need to pay for one meal OOP. We have never ate at Askerhus and currently I have a breakfast and a dinner reservation on hold trying to decide which one to eat at and which one to drop or whether to drop both? I was just able to snag the dinner reservation a few days ago as that was my original plan. My son is allergic to eggs (only eggs not things made with eggs such as cake) Do I keep the reservation or drop it and do quick service that day. I am running the half marathon that day, I typically run a half in about 2 hours so not worried about making a 10:30 reservation with a 5am start time for the race. Or I have a 7pm dinner reservation (after naps!)

My other reservations include

Cape May Breakfast (love it here)
Crystal Palace Breakfast (ate here before)
Via Napoli (ate here before)
Minnies Dine (ate here before)

I am not super impressed with the menu and that is why we haven't ate there yet. Any suggestions?

Personally I was overly impressed with it. I definitely wouldn't return without our kids and it wouldn't be high on my list with them.

We had dinner there on our daughters 5th birthday. She enjoyed it and so did our son who was in awe of the princesses even at 10 years old since they have him extra attention.

The food was ok, nothing super memorable. It just seemed super crowded, very close quarters with too many people in it.

I think everyone should try every restaurant once for themselves but I doubt we will try it again.

We really enjoyed the food and the characters. They had a buffet table which was nice and our server gave us a history lesson on Scandinavia.

We love this breakfast. It's always on our must do's. I have 2 daughters, ages 10 & 4. They both love the food, enjoy meeting all the princesses, and I never feel rushed. We usually have time to get to the buffet before the princesses arrive and since the rest is served at your table, you don't worry about missing them. My picky hubby likes the food too.

I'm going to be the odd man out here I suppose.
We went in 2014 and I loved the food. I was pregnant and it was the only meal I had that tasted good the entire time. At that time it was braised beef with blueberry gastrique. It tasted so stinking good. The rest of my party enjoyed their meals too.

I will say that some of the princesses seemed rushed or a smidge testy (I'm looking at you, Snow White).

We LOVE Akershus for breakfast. It is on our line up again for this year. We really enjoyed the cold buffet options, and the hot foods they bring to the table were really good - especially that potato casserole! We did CRT, and found that Akershus was way better. We really enjoy it there. Now dinner gets a ton of mixed reviews. We have never been for dinner, but really aren't interested in the menu.
