ke$ha?

EVERY artist has at least one sexual/vulgar song. And Blah Blah Blah is VERY tame, compared to a lot of other songs.

It wouldn't be if society stopped supporting it.
Although I might not LIKE the "vulgar" material I don't think its wrong to support it. I think its more wrong to ban, ignore or remove it from society. I feel that way about ALL music. Although most of it is (in my opinion) crap, music is a gift to us humans. It allows us to think on a slightly deeper level than basic words and numbers. Of course some music really requires NO thought process at all, but it also means something different for each person, which should not be taken away, censored, or considered "bad taboo" by anyone.

Wow hippy moment.

I'm just wondering, all of you who hate Ke$ha, do you hate all the other singers/bands that she wrote songs for before she got famous?

who did she write for?

who did she write for?

I know that she's written for Miley Cyrus, The Veronicas, Miranda Cosgrove, and Rihanna. There have been others, though. She was a songwriter years before she ever sang her own songs on the radio.

She's also been in songs with FloRida, Taio Cruz, 30h!3, and Rihanna.

Songs she's written have appeared on Degrassi, The Hills, Teen Cribs, My Super Sweet Sixteen, The Simpsons, and Marmaduke.

wow. i didn't know that. i actually don't like the veronicas or rihanna, and i'm not a huge miley cyrus fan. i've never heard miranda cosgrove. but the main reason i don't like ke$ha is because of her voice.

Her mom was a professional song writer too. I didn't know that. I found it out when I was looking for all the people she's written for. Her mom wrote for Johnny Cash at one point.

Her songs are fun to dance and drive to, but I don't really like just sitting and listening to her.

No, but I know she didn't write for any of my favourite bands/singers that I think have good lyrics anyway so.

I don't think anything should be banned. It's just that if people would stop buying this stuff there would be no market for it, that's all.

I'm not a prude but a majority of the music coming out is just ridiculous. Even if the lyrics to a song are racy the image that a person puts out there is about equally as important. It's not just one song or music video that she acts drunk, it's all the time! And Kesha's image is it's cool to look trashed. If a person somehow gets lucky they can get a record deal, have someone make really catchy hooks and get rich! Kesha is not talented whatsoever in my opinion. Any gross, drunk, off the wall partier could be her.

I like some Miley Cyrus. I think she cowrote "The Time of Our Lives" and that is a decent song. Rihanna is another that I like some of. Not a huge fan one way or the other.

I don't hate her as a person because I don't know her. I hate the image she projects..she comes off as trashy and gross to me and most of her songs are stupid, even if they have good beats. Plus she can't sing.

try listening to "stephen" or "hungover" they're not "vulgar". They're actually pretty relatable.

"I laughed cause I was completely trashed" ....okay

"Hungover" looks ok. I read the lyrics...haven't listened yet. "Stephen" is..I laughed because I was completely trashed? Other than that it looks acceptable but I think her song writing leaves much to be desired.

Her mom wrote for Dolly too.
