Really! Hadn't heard about that one yet. I did read an article in the news rolleyes about Bieber being all upset with the choice of photograph a magazine used for their cover; he didn't like the way he was smiling or something, yeesh.

I don't think Kesha, Lady Gaga, Katie Perry or Justin Bieber are very good. But, as the music industry shows us, it's not about being a good singer, but a good entertainer. They are all doing something right to gather fans, so it's working for them at this point.

How long it works, will remain to be seen, as music fans are pretty fickle these days.

Kesha is the worst. We were watching SNL when she was on it and the part when she was under black lights wearing the neon colours and playing the keyboard; well I think we laughed at that more than anything else that was on that night...and I do like SNL right now

Kesha's mom is a pretty big songwriter. I am positive that's how she was able to break into the industry. She is a product of Catholic schools here in Nashville. The nuns must be so proud!

I am not a fan at all, but my 9yo loves her. And she thinks Justin Bieber hung the moon.

I also agree that Lady Gaga can sing! She is also a marketing/publicity genius. The crazier you look and act, the more people will notice you. Her music is good, though.

Lady Gaga/Kesha are basically today's Christina Aguilera/Britney Spears. One has true talent, the other is a product of recording "tricks." Christina can sing..Britney not so much.

There have only been 20 people worldwide who have been offered early admission, and she was one. She can belt a tune, but is going to be recognized more for her off the wall fashion, and risque videos and performances. Because she does remind me of Madonna, I think she'll have lasting power.

My DD's can't stand Ke$ha. My older DD is going to a Rihanna concert and is disgusted because Ke$ha is opening for her. I think Rihanna is a great singer and I don't get why she'd want to be associated with Ke$ha. I'm sure it's all about money in the end.

What a coincidence, on my way home a little while ago her new song was on the radio and I was thinking the exact same thing. I'm not a fan of Lady Gaga or her performance art however I think she is very talented. I think Kesha is just a white trash wannabe Gaga.

That's interesting...I didn't know that. Does she write and produce her own music? I haven't heard her sing live, which for me, is an indication of how good someone can actually sing. I've only heard her on the radio, which is a lot of mixing nowadays. In some of her songs, her voice sounds stronger than in others, but, her crazy and flamboyant costumes for me, detract from her songs, so I don't much listen to her. She is so overplayed here on the radio, that it's constant overkill.

A better indication will be what she puts out for her sophomore album.

He is a 16 year old boy, who shot to fame by singing on the Internet. He comes from a small town a few hours from me, so he's not that big of a deal around here at all. Jonas Brothers are more liked around here, and seem to be more talented in terms of writing songs and playing their own instruments.

I think he's just another cute boy popstar who will have a quick rise to fame, and then a long fall down to the bottom when that fame is over. And, since his fan base is pre-teen and teen girls, the most fickle beings on the planet, I don't think he's going to be around for very long at all. He will probably stay around longer than he should, because he's hooked up to Usher.
