Hello all! I decided I would be brave and post all the details here, hoping it will help me to stay focused!
I am Katy, a 37yr old SAHM, mother to 3 boys. I'm 5'6" and weigh 210. I did WW two years ago and lost 45lbs, but have gained 40 back, due to bad eating.
I LOVE to bake, with real butter-I enjoy cooking and experimenting with new stuff. I just need to switch to healthy experiments instead of cheesy experiments.
The boys...my DH and DS10 are joining me on this journey. I don't know what DH weighs, but he's 6'1" and he lost really fast when we did this 2 yrs ago. He's gained most of it back. DS10 has always been a big boy. He's 5'5" already, but weighs 165! I'd be so happy if he could lose even 20 lbs or so.
We started Weight Watchers Online on Wednesday. So far here are my "strengths" for the week- staying close to points-made good choices at a lunch out-only 2 mixed drinks at happy hour-cooking healthy WW meals-counting the points for myself and DS
"weeknesses" -not drinking enough water-still taking bites when making lunches for 3 sons-not excercising-stole a couple candy bars from the pumpkin-
Another challenge-we are an expat family from the USA living in Qatar. I cannot get many of the products that are available in the USA. I did find Splenda yesterday and it cost me nearly $20 for the bag! Fat Free is difficult to find and very very expensive. No frozen meals, etc. I did find WW cookies, and DS loves them! I will go buy all of them! Good news...the produce is awesome.
Sorry this is so long. I just wanted to reveal it all in the beginning! We will weigh in on Wednesdays.
Thanks for your support!
