Thank you for your kind thoughts, my friends. This has been a tough time for us. The hardest part being that we could not be with my husband's mother when she died nor could we attend the funeral.

My sil had a really good idea, though. She had my son call me on his cell phone and put his phone on the podium so that we could hear the memorial service.

I was also on the phone with the family when my mil passed away. I couldn't be there in person so that was the next best thing. I'm sure that it may sound strange to you that I did that but I'm glad that I did.

Your good thoughts and caring natures sustain me. Thank you for your kind hearts.
