Hi Kate!
My weight-loss goals are kind of similar to yours. I lost 20 pounds in college and maintained at about 130-135... in the past 9 months, though, I have consistently been at 140+ and it's killing me! I grew up as the "chubby girl" and don't want to slide back into it.
At 130, I wanted to lose 10 lbs... I guess I am now needing to lose 20! Grr!

You're only 2 lbs away though! Go, Kate!! I'm so impressed. Those last 5-10 are so stubborn. Hopefully I will catch up to your 122 one of these days. Have a great weekend!
 
Seems like forever that I posted here. Been very busy with life in general. But weigh-in today - I'm down to 121. How long will it take to lose that 1 more pound??!! I know I look and feel great, I just want to get there, that was the goal, hope I can do it before too long. These last pounds seem to take forever!!

Kate, you are doing great! Wow, 1lb. to goal, I can hardly imagine, you must be so excited! I hope you get there soon, I know you can do it! :)
 
WI this morning, I finally hit my goal!

I've lost a total of 50 lbs. Not as much as some, but it was what I needed.

Just had to share this.

Hi Kate!! Congratulations on your weight loss. That is terrific. I am new to the WISH boards, and I myself have just started weight watchers. My goal is 100 lbs. I know that is a huge number. But I think I can do it. Any tips for me in doing weight watchers. I am really nervous to start something like this. I have posted a journal on here if you want to check it out and give me some "helpful tips" with weight watchers.

Are you doing CORE or FLEX on WW? Either one encourages good healthy habits, and my best advice is look at the little picture, not the whole big thing. When I first started I was thrilled to lose the 2 or 1 lb. at Weigh-In. If I would have concentrated on 50 lbs - that seems like too much.

Just do one day at a time, keep losing small amounts consistently, and you'll make it. baby steps.

Wow, been a while since I've stopped by. Been busy learning the new weight machines at the gym.
EVerything I learn gives me something else to vary my workout.
