Hi Kate. Hope things are warming up for you. I see you got some walking in. I bet that macadamia nut recipe would be great with tilapia or grouper. I've never liked mahi mahi but I love macadamia nuts. You gave me an idea for another meal.

Mornin' Kate! Looks like you're going to make the Exercise this month! WAY TO GO!!! :cool1:

Hope you're having a good week - almost the weekend :thumbsup2

Well, I had the week from hell at work, almost no exercise until Friday, and hopefully my stress eating in the middle of the week won't set me back too much!

I had to go into the office every day, and Wednesday was the worst, big run-in with our IT guy, who is trying to tell me my home computer has a virus (doesn't look like it to me!) and my virus protection isn't good enough. If he wants me to have something special super-duper, then I think the company should pay for whatever program it is for me to install on my home computer. Otherwise, leave me alone!!

Anyway, after a terrible day Weds. I ate an entire bag of Fritos, and a bunch of cookies that my daughter had made when I got home. Needless to say I wasn't hungry for dinner after that, but felt sick.

Thursday our weather finally got to looking and feeling like spring, but of course Friday when I had some time off, it rained all day. DD is supposed to have her first soccer game today, but not sure if that will happen, we had rain and thunderstorms last night, so I guess it depends on what kind of shape the fields are in this morning.

Amy, I read about you shopping for the Easter candy at Walgreens. There is a Walgreens in the bottom floor of my building, and that place is my downfall! Invariably, when I go to take a walk at lunchtime, I stop in there for something I NEED (pickup somethign from the pharmacy, or get somethign for one of the kids, or whatever) and I have to go past that candy aisle. It is my biggest temptation. You think I'd learn and just avoid that place like the plague, but I haven't been able to do that yet.

All right, maybe I'll get more exercise in this month as the weather will be improving and I can at least get out and run.

Wow, you really did have a rough week! But today starts a new month, so no worries!

I love Walgreens. I am a sucker for sales. If it is a good deal on candy, I will buy it even if I am going to regret it later... I really have a hard time avoiding their "movie theater" sized Junior Mints...

I hope you will be able to start working out again and that the weather finally turns to Spring! :wizard: That is weird that you are starting soccer. Our soccer season isn't until the fall (right now we are in Little League baseball season).

Kate I hope this week goes better for you. Sorry that you were hassled at work by the computer guy. That definately would have stressed me out too. It won't be long until the weather warms up.

My fingers are crossed that next week is a much better week for you!

Got to the gym for a long workout that felt great!
The week is going good so far, and I'm off next week as my kids are on spring break and I took a week of vacation. Not going anywhere, except we may do a day trip to Lexington to the Kentucky Horse Park, may even camp overnight if the weather looks good.

Amy, it will be nice to have time off. but hey, didn't you just get back from a cruise??? :rotfl:

Yes, I did just get back. What can I say, I am a vacation junkie! :cool1:

I love how you are still within your points even with eating ice cream and cookies! That takes a lot of discipline, way to go! :cheer2:

Got to the gym today, 80 minutes (40 weight circuit, 40 cardio stuff)

Once this weather gets a bit warmer I'll at least get to run nearly every day outside.

Kate, have a great weekend! I see you got in another killer workout! Way to go! :sunny:

Well, I'm back to working on eating healthy, exercising, and hope to lose these pesky 10 - 12 pounds that have hung on since last summer!!

Some day I'll get back to goal. Why could I lose 50 lbs, and now the maintenance is so hard!!?

My kids were on spring break all last week, and I was off work, so we spent a lot of family time together. Actually went camping and went to Mammoth Cave, it was a fun trip. We love to camp, but s'mores do me in every time!!

I love that sitting around the fire, but once I start with the marshmallows I can't quit! Combine that with chocolate, and its hopeless!!

Good news is, between the hiking, walking, and riding horses on a trail at the Horse Park, I did get a lot of exercise. And the weather here has been wonderful, so I'm back to running nearly every day.

Thank God winter is over!!!! :sunny:

Kate, I am right there with you! We are both stuck at about the same weight, and for about the same amount of time... What are we gonna do about it? Let's kick those pounds to the curb! :thumbsup2

S'mores are tough. Last time I went camping I allowed myself 1 s'more with no chocolate. It was tough, but I survived! Great job getting all that exercise in! :cheer2:
