I won't be watching. I have a hard time finding entertainment in the exploitation of children.
those poor swim teachers. and train conductor at day out with Thomas, oh that poor choo choo driver, and the dog breeder, and furniture salesperson (I use "sales" loosely since no money was exchanged) and crooked house people and organic farmer, and her brother and sister in law, all those non nannies, and the barefooted camera crew, hopeful family helpers, paid family helpers, volunteer family helpers, penguin keeper, Disney host, former residents of her mansion, Beth, and the nurses at the nicu reunion, and, and, and.
.
In a recent statement she expressed how happy she was that "Kate+8" would be airing soon - as it's "needed" in order to "put food on the table".. I guess that means there's no money left from before?
I'll be watching..... I am one of the very few who actually kinda like Kate.![]()
I'm very excited and will definately be watching.

The Gosselin children are on TV. They've earned lots of money from it. They have a million dollar house with room enough for all of them. They get to go to places most families can only dream about taking vacations to and given the VIP treatment the entire time.
I bring up the house and the money for two reasons. Yes, I get angry when Kate (who nets millions of dollars from her books alone) pretends they are poor and she is struggling to makes ends meet. However, I don't buy the uncle's arguments that all of the money goes to whatever Kate and Jon want and the kids don't get anything. From all talks (and I will be upfront that I only really watch the show and don't follow every tidbit in the magazines or on Entertainment Tonight), the house is the children's. They had an episode before they moved where Jon and Kate set up a will and trusts for the children, with stipulations about when the money would be given to the kids, education, etc.
link? I'd like to see where she's quoted as saying that.

there's a lot of speculation about how much money has been set aside for the Gosselin children. That's something that has always fallen into the "gray area", where Jon and Kate are concerned.
<snip>
I especially agree with the bolded part.
and as far as the house goes, you're right. Jon & Kate said that it was bought for the children. Not sure how that all played out after the divorce.
Is this a regular series? I don't see it listed in TV Guide for the next 2 Sundays--unless it changes nights after this week![]()
You are right ... I cannot find this show airing at all after the season premier on Sunday. I checked the TLC website and there guide is up through June 16th and I do not see another epi after this Sunday ...![]()
I believe this is a two hour special, not the first of a weekly series of shows.
I'm very excited and can't wait to see Kate and the kids!
Me too. I saw where she said she was happy to have a job..but it takes imagination to pull the rest out of that quote. Anyone have a quote where Kate said she needed to start the show to feed the kids? I actually haven't heard her say much about needing to pay the bills, since Jon was made to return the money.link? I'd like to see where she's quoted as saying that.
