~ Kate Plus Eight ~

Kate wanted that big house with all that room. I don't blame her, I would too. Just own up to it.
I thought Jon was the one who wanted the house..as a way to try and make him happy.
They have said many times the house is the kids. To me, it doesn't matter who owns it. The kids have to live somewhere, and it is a nice house.

"It's mine. All mine. As far as the eye can see."
Kate Gosselin, new house episode. 'Nuff said.

And everything in my house is mine, all mine LOL (even the dust balls). Yes, I'm sure she meant it just like that. So, did people really take that literally, or is it just because Kate said it LOL?

I'm not sure if this is what C.Ann meant but here is something she said about putting food on the table.

Yep - that's it! :thumbsup2 Thanks for finding it.. I'm sure that some may have not believed that Kate was still making such comments..

Kate Gosselin continued her publicity tour on 'The Tonight Show' Thursday night and admitted she doesn't know what ex-husband Jon does for money.

"What does Jon do for a living?" Leno asked.

"Um, I don't know," said Kate."

"Does he have a job?"

"Not that I'm aware of."

Kate again defended her choice to support her family through reality shows.

"I'm a single mom of eight kids, I feel like I say this a lot, and for whatever reason, I feel like I have to defend myself," she said. "The truth is moms work, single moms work. I travel and work and that's my job, and I'm very grateful and fortunate to have a job. When work comes my way I do it so I can literally put food on the table and send my kids to school."

I stand corrected. I did see that show. I took that to mean she would take any job to support/feed her kids. And I guess that would include Kate + 8, not just her jobs, although they were talking about DWTS on the Leno show.
I would assume after all the legal bills, there might not be a lot left from the original show.

Sorry I won't be watching the kids are cute but I really can't stand Kate and how she is such a bossy, domineering, self-absorbed witch and then tried to make herself out to be the victim during the split.

The difference between her and Jon was that she obviously had a publicist telling her what to do for her every move.... how to act, what to say, etc. to try and gain support from fans--she transformed from an absolutely horrid person to someone soft-spoken and fragile literally overnight and expected everyone to buy it!

Dancing with the Stars-wow, even the guy she danced with didn't want to be around her!!

Hope everyone who does like her enjoys the show, just not for me!

not so sure if I could even watch...just turned it on and Kate was sitting in a chair getting her hair all done with big heels and she was talking to her bodyguard. Like....who IS this person? Its NOT the same person we met season 1. This not "every" mom out there who wants to/can identify with her (obviously on a much larger scale b/c she does have 8).
IDK, I think Kate needs to step down from the "fame" now.

You do realize what you saw was her getting ready to do some press/red carpet thing for DWTC, right? This was not her "everyday life."

They couldn't stress enough about fans either love her or hate her and the bodyguard revealing she doesn't know about the threats??
This women has not changed one bit since her divorce from Jon. She will use anyone she can as a punching bag. I think Mady & Cara were treated as staff rather than her children. Everything revolves around her 6 little cash cows. If it wasn't for those "6" there would be no show. Kate has no talent.:sad2:

My opinion. You do what you have to,to make a living for 9 people. A living that can give your kids great experiences, private school. Ect. Would I? You bet I would. Someone has to bring home the bacon. Jon certainly isn't helping off camera.

Nope, not just Jon. They were talking about space whay back when they were buying the half of a cow. They also stopped and looked at houses on the way down to NC. Also she mentioned numerous times about how she wanted a bigger house.

Yes , but she was standing at the kitchen window and looking out. So no that shows right there, that it wasn't just Jon's idea.

Like I said, I don't blame her, I would love to have the space, just don't sit there and say that they bought it for the kids. The parents wanted the space, and I am ok with that, as always I say, "just admit it"

I'm sure EVERYONE wanted the space- and the older the kids get, the more they will appreciate the space.

Thats what I am saying. It wasn't Jon who wanted it. And like I said, I don't blame her for wanting it.

So comments on the show last night???

I thought Mady said it perfectly when they were at the 3rd party for the little kids..."we only get one day, why do they get 3 parties? Nobody cares about me". I hope Kate is putting away a lot of money for the older girls therapy. And as for her hair....to me it looks weird in the back, I could see where the extensions start and her hair ends. Is that normal???

The reason I said Jon, because I thought in one of the ending shows (I didn't watch last nights last show, so I don't know if it was then, or when Kate was on by herself) when they talked about separating, she said that she tried to give him what he wanted, such as a bigger house with land to keep him happy.
I have no doubt that everyone wanted it and loves it, but I thought that was brought up.

Normal kids, whine whine whine

I loved everything about it! :goodvibes

The kids are beautiful(what else is new), their command of language is wonderful and Kate seemed a lot less stressed than in the past.

Seeing Discovery Cove makes me want to go; their mission was accomplished. ;)

It was a treat to watch and not hear Kate and Jon bickering!

I'm looking forward to future shows/specials!
