I love the t-shirts!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you point me to the directions?

Well...I just tried to search for the thread but no dice.

You need a cotton t-shirt -- washed and dried without softner or a dryer sheet. Put a piece of cardboard in the shirt (so that the paint and flour mixture does not bleed through).

Combine water and flour to the consistency of mustard and put into a squeeze bottle. Squeeze the mixture onto the t-shirt in a spiral pattern -- making a Mickey head and ears (and be sure that you place the ears in the appropriate spot -- meaning so that they are "high" -- and do not create "spotlights" on your chest! :) ). Let it dry overnight.

Color your Mickey -- you can use either spray fabric paint -- or you can paint with a paintbrush (which is what I did). Let this dry overnight.

The next day, peel off the dried flour mixture -- and voila -- spiral Mickey's!

Here are some close ups of the t-shirts:

I am loving your trip report and pictures!!!

I can't wait for more!!

I am surprising DD (6) with a Mommy/Daughter trip to WDW in December. How are you planning on telling your girls about their suprise trip?

Trish

ACK! I wish I knew! Originally I was going to have it as a surprise birthday present for Katie (her birthday is New Year's Eve) -- and not tell them -- put them in the car and go. But then after a little thought -- I really don't want Madalyn to expect me to take her to Disney for her birthday, too. So...now it will be a Christmas gift for both of them. But the "how" I am just not sure of.

Christmas morning is just so crazy -- I am not sure that both of them would sit long enough to actually pay attention to the gift they are getting. My mom suggested that we give it to them Christmas Eve... but then I think that would add so much to their excitement that they'll never go to sleep. Then we had another idea to do some sort of scavenger hunt on Christmas Eve -- but early in the day.

I am SOOOOO open to ideas!!

DAY THREE CONTINUED

So we’re standing there. No one else was in line – it’s just us there. Katie says: “are they coming back?” Ummm…I guess so – they have our stuff! So we stand there – looking perplexed when Peter Pan and Wendy’s “handler” walks up (where this person was before, I have no idea – maybe the handler was in cahoots with Hook and told him where to find Pan and Wendy! :teeth: ) and says “where’d they go?!” Katie tells the handler about Wendy being kidnapped by Captain Hook and Smee – and the handler says: “oh, yes…that happens all the time!” Next thing you know…Pan and Wendy are running back to us – they managed to escape – and they arrived with our autograph stuff :thumbsup2 .

Yet another side note about our autograph stuff: I scrapbook. I wanted to be able to put the autographs in my scrapbook. So a regular autograph book would not work. Also, I know that ball point pens are not an option – I need a good pen that will last a million years :) . What to do?! I could bring one of my albums and have the characters sign that – and bring good pens. But that’s a little bulky. So, finally I had what I thought was a brilliant idea. I have these stacks of 4x6 papers in these boxes – I could bring those in assorted colors for the characters to autograph – and they could use the box to bear down on – and then the autographs could go back into the box until we got back to the resort. The girls took turns asking for the autographs – choosing the pen – and then asking for two. It worked well.

Except that the autographs are so big. I want the autographs for my scrapbook – and then I was going to make a small book for each of the girls with their photos and autographs. And again, the autographs are too big for a small book (unless I only want a small number of pics and autographs in it – but I want to do one that we can add to with each visit). So…Right now we are scanning them and then formatting them to print 3 autographs on a 4x6 picture – and by scanning them to be processed, the paper and pen problem are no longer problems. (I’ll have to post some of them when it’s done!) I am not sure how I will deal with autographs in the future. The autograph book will be fun for the girls to have – but it might be hard to scan from it. Any brilliant ideas?!

Where were we? Oh, yes…Peter Pan and Wendy. We got our autographs and pictures:

Picture214.jpg

Picture215.jpg

Then we headed up the hill for Splash Mountain. Now, I am hot and sweaty – but I do not wish to feel any wetter than I already am…so I sit this one out. Liv is now asleep in her stroller – and we decide to split up – Jen and Debbie go off in search of an artist to do Liv’s silhouette (which they end up doing while she is sleeping). I wish I had done that too while we were there.

Michael and the girls go to get in line. A few minutes later here they come back. Katie says her stomach does not feel good – so she stays with me while Michael and Madalyn go back to the ride. Through some prodding, I realize that Katie’s stomach hurts mostly likely due to some overindulgence! She loved that breakfast at the Crystal Palace :) She says everything was so good she just didn’t want to stop! Let’s see if this is a lesson learned…

Katie and I were hanging out on the bridge overlooking the Splash drop – and I saw Michael and Madalyn come around:

Picture218.jpg

And I waited and waited – and never saw them make the drop. When they got back I asked Michael if he saw their picture – he said it was good – but too expensive. I cannot wait for photopass to add all the ride photos to the system. Madalyn did NOT like Splash. According to her, the third row was too scary – and she might try again when she is 6…but only in the front because that won’t be as scary as the third row :confused3 :confused3

We start walking towards Liberty Square and we have to stop for pictures of everyone in the stockades

Picture221.jpg

Picture222.jpg

Picture223.jpg

Picture224.jpg

And another trip down Memory Lane to October of 71:

Stockade-1971.jpg

Now what? Guess what I see?! “Haunt-ed man-shun; haunt-ed man-shun!” Katie and Madalyn decide to ride together this time. Cool…a ride in the dark with my DH  . When we exit…Madalyn has now decided that this ride is scary too (how many times have we ridden this?! And NOW it’s scary?!) :confused3

Next stop – lunch at Columbia Harbor House. I get into line after finding out what everyone wants – and I send Michael and the girls upstairs to find a seat. Everyone gets chicken fingers/fries/cake – and I get fish. Now for four people that is a lot of food! As the CM is putting everything on 2 trays, I ask if there is a way to stack things so that it will all fit on one tray – and she says “no, no…we’ll bring it to your table for you.” Now…mind you, this is the lunch crowd – and there are a lot of people in line! But I was quite thankful to get some help. We take our trays upstairs to a practically empty room and enjoy our lunch. There is no way we can eat all this – so I attempt to give away 2 of our desserts – going to two tables before I find someone who is not awaiting their own supply of chocolate cakes.

Picture225.jpg

Madalyn now wants to ride Peter Pan…so we head off to Fantasyland. The wait time posted is 40 minutes. The line does not look that long – so we ask the CM if she thinks the time posted is accurate – and she says it is. Madalyn wants to ride – so we get in line. After about 10 minutes I get a “how much longer?!” Why did we not fast pass this ride? Who hired Tour Guide Madalyn? I must say it was a good lesson. Over the rest of the week if I said the line was too long, it was okay. If she wanted to ride “NOW” but I said the line was too long – we got a fast pass, no problemo. So…was the ride time accurate? Yes, yes it was! I am surprised that the wait for this ride is always so long. It’s a great classic…but with its continuous loop, it seems like it should move faster. Anyway…after Peter Pan we rode a few more rides in Fantasyland (which rides? Well…according to my notes: “ride a few more” – such detail…it paints a rich picture!) and then we head back towards Main Street.

Picture226.jpg

By the time we get there, I am sooo miserable hot that we walk through the shops for a little AC. Ooooo, this can be dangerous. I bought some postcards and some pink Mickey Head earrings that come with three pairs – we can each have a set! Madalyn picks out some Princess rings and a Polly Pocket Princess set – Belle I think. Katie picks a 3 pack Mickey necklace set that says “best friends forever” to share between her friends at home.

Finally we make our way to the bus stop. We don’t have to wait at all for a bus – and by 3pm we are back in our room. When we get into the room, the USB cable for Katie’s camera has arrived – and is waiting in our room – along with a Magical Moments certificate comemorating our first trip. Awww….

Michael decides that the packaging for the USB cable makes a great hat
Picture227.jpg

I am thinking that a nap would be loverly – everyone else votes for some pool time. They change and go to the pool and I get some peace and quiet – except that I cannot sleep. I give up…clean up a little…go over my receipts…and then change and join the crew at the pool. After some splashing, swimming, diving (well, for toys – because you can’t dive, ya know!), and sliding we go back to the room to shower and change and then go to check out the food court for dinner.

I got Parmesan chicken, pasta, salad, bread, and an ice cream cookie sandwich for dessert. It was good – especially the chicken. The sauce for the pasta was just okay – not gross, but kinda watery. Michael got rotisserie chicken, corn, mashed potatoes, corn bread (his dinner was supposed to come with 2 sides – but Michael made a plea for a little of this and a little of that – and the CM obliged), and pecan pie – and he gave it all a big thumbs up. Katie had a hotdog, fries and chocolate cake (when she was full this time, she realized she needed to stop eating and not make herself sick – so the cake came back to the room with us) and Madalyn got macaroni and cheese and a chocolate covered Mickey rice crispy treat (which also came back to the room with us).

Madalyn did not eat much of her dinner. It was too tiring!

Picture232.jpg

After Michael had finished his dinner he took the girls back to the room for bed – and I met up with Jen to do a little wandering around the resort and shopping in the gift shop. We didn’t wander for long – I was worn out! I was in bed by 10pm! Tomorrow is our “off” day – and we have big plans involving some fairy godmothers in training and an evening meal with Cindy….

DAY FOUR – SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 24

When you have to make your dinner reservations months in advance, you have to have a plan. You need to know which park you will be in on which day. Will you hop? Will you take afternoon breaks? This agenda requires a lot of faith, trust, and pixie dust pixiedust: ! So…waaaayyy back when, I made a plan. Then with the addition of MNSSHP and with Jennifer joining us and doing more research…things changed. My original plan was for Saturday to be a day of rest (especially after staying up so late for the Halloween party) with dinner at Park Fare followed by MK on Sunday with lunch at the Crystal Palace. Well, after some research, I realized that Saturday would be a better day to be at MK – Saturday is a traditional travel day – and Sunday had the Magical Beginnings AND evening extra magic hours – Sunday would be a zoo.

First change was to switch Crystal Palace to Saturday – and then to move Park Fare to Sunday. Crystal Palace was an easy switch…but Park Fare?! The only time we could get in was after 8pm! I took it…but called all the time trying to get in a little earlier (even willing to dump the cousins if it meant an earlier time! ;) ). Then after some surfing on the food porn thread, I decided I could not live without some puffed French toast at the CP breakfast – AND we could get some cool pictures in front of the castle with no one else in our pictures. So…that reservation was moved to breakfast (and as you have read, the breakfast was yummy!).

Now we are to Sunday. Our day of rest. We planned to sleep, hang out at the pool…and then head to Downtown Disney late afternoon for our Bibbity Bobbity Botique appointment before dinner at Park Fare. Best laid plans…

(Totally trivial side note: Do you know what the quote “best laid plans” comes from? It’s from a Robert Burns poem called “To a Mouse” – trivial and ironic!! :smooth: )

I love my bed at home. It’s a king pillowtop with lovely high thread count sheets. It cannot compare with a double bed and industrial strength sheets. Madalyn and I have been bunking together on this trip – and I am enjoying our snuggle time. Michael gets Katie because he can sleep through anything – including her kicking feet. A double will not work for Michael and me – sometimes I think the king is not big enough :teeth: . Anyway…I am missing my bed…and I am not sleeping that well. I am not saying the beds are not comfortable – I just have a “princess and the pea” thing going on? YKWIM?

So…Sunday…sleep morning…NOT! I wake up about 7. Most of the pain in my legs is gone. I’m up…the girls are up…let’s go to Magic Kingdom and experience some Magical Beginnings! We wake Michael up – and he insists on taking a shower and getting pretty – so we don’t get to the bus stop until a little after 8am (grabbing bananas that we brought from home to eat on the way) – and of course the minute we walk up, PIXIE DUST pixiedust: – and a MK bus arrives. (We are getting spoiled!)

We get to the gates about 8:30 – and no one asks to see our resort ID. I thought the Magical beginnings was just for resort guests? :confused3 We walk down mainstreet and through the castle. We stop to take it all in. We see Goofy on the carousel. Stitch is riding on Dumbo. Snow White and Dopey are riding their own ride. We see Mickey and Pluto walking with children out of the Philharmagic.

Picture234-1.jpg

Picture235.jpg

Katie, Madalyn and I get on the carousel – there is NO wait!

Picture237.jpg

We walk over to Dumbo – but there is a 30 minute wait – and Madalyn politely declines (see, waiting in one long line can serve a purpose!). We walk over to Peter Pan – which also has a long line, so we snag a fast pass. Out in front of the ride are Peter Pan and Wendy playing a game of Peter Pan says. Katie and Madalyn jump right in to play:

Picture239.jpg

Picture240.jpg

Picture242.jpg

Peter Pan and Wendy then change gears for a new game and decide on “follow the leader” with Wendy as the leader. Madalyn is now done with this nonsense – why aren’t we riding?!

Picture244.jpg

Picture245.jpg

Can you believe that we have been two times to the Magic Kingdom in the past two days – and still have not done Philharmagic? I wasn’t sure how well this would go over with Madalyn as it is not a ride…but let’s see! So, we go in – again no line – but we wait just a few minutes before the doors open – and there is an announcement to not stop in the middle – and not to leave more than 5 seats space between your family and the next. Is this a normal announcement or one reserved for low attendance days?! We are first through the doors, and being good citizens, proceed all the way to the end of the row. After everyone is seated it is obvious that we did not need to go over that far – so we move a smidge closer to the middle.

WOW!! This show is fantabulous! I had read all the rave reviews here – and it is quite wonderful. Even Miss “I only want to ride” loves it!! She especially liked being “squirted!”

We start to make our way to Tomorrowland after realizing that not only had we missed Philharmagic during our last two days at MK – but we also had not gone on the People Mover or done Buzz Light Year!

As we are going by the tea cups…we see Alice and the Madhatter (again, NO line!) and we get autographs and pictures:

Picture251.jpg

Picture271-2.jpg

So that puts the gang in the mood to ride the tea cups again – this time making sure that they find a teacup near ME so that I can get a picture :thumbsup2

Picture253.jpg

Picture255.jpg

We head for Buzz – and again – no line! Madalyn and I ride together – and I have no idea how you all get those high scores!! I can’t even tell if my laser is actually hitting the target. And I cannot figure out where the “secret” target is. Of course, my high score is thwarted by Miss Madalyn who takes the “spin” part of the ride quite seriously. Michael gets a much higher score (this is a man who can make one quarter in a game of pinball last for hours – no kidding – I’ve been there – good times ;) ) – next time I’ll need to take better DIS notes on where those high scoring targets are!

We exit and I finally get to see the “jail” for Zurg that I have seen so many pictures of – and we have to get one of our own:

Picture270-2.jpg

The ride picture of Madalyn and me is quite cute – so I get it – Michael and Katie are not even looking! We head out and see Stitch – and the girls stop for pictures and autographs:

Picture263.jpg

And then we ride the People mover – nice, relaxing, cool breeze, loverly!

Picture268.jpg

Picture269.jpg

I decide that we need to do Buzz again – with Katie and Michael paying better attention so that I can get a picture of them, too. They comply – and I now have 2 cute pictures! So…how does Disney decide how much to charge for their ride photos? Buzz pictures are $12.95 – but Splash Mountain ones are $16.95 – why?! Again…I cannot wait till they add ride photos to the photopass!

We walk back towards Fantasyland to redeem our Peter Pan fast passes. We somehow manage to put off riding the Indy cars again (I know that even though we don’t have MK scheduled again during the week – somehow we will make it back here before we leave) –and ride Pan. We are hot and sweaty…and decide to call it a day and go back to the resort for lunch and pool time (nap time?!). Of course we must enjoy the air conditioning and walk through the shops – where we find that we MUST try on all the hats:

Picture274.jpg

Picture275.jpg

Picture277.jpg

Picture276.jpg

Picture279.jpg

Picture278.jpg

We get to our bus stop – and we see all the ducks waiting to go back to Port Orleans :)

Picture280.jpg

-- and yet again, we do not have to wait for a bus – it’s waiting for us! On the bus I meet another Disser from Chicago – I don’t remember her name – but her screen name has something to do with Tigger! Her daughter had gotten to wake up Tinkerbell that morning (along with another daughter of a Disser! :) ) –and she showed me the certificate they got. Another event that we will have to try next time!

Madalyn fell asleep on the bus – so Michael takes her back to the room while Katie and I go to get lunch in the food court. I had a cheese steak, fries, diet coke and another ice cream cookie sandwich for dessert. Katie had chicken strips, fries, chocolate milk and a cookie for dessert. Neither of us could finish our lunch (and Katie decided to try my cheese steak – she now has a new food favorite!) so we took it back to the room for Madalyn when she woke up.

When we got back to the room, Madalyn was playing with her Princess Pollies – wide awake. Michael said that she woke up as soon as they got to the room – but she wanted to play, not eat so they did not join us in the food court. Madalyn decided to eat our leftovers and Michael went to the food court to find his own lunch (he got the chicken parmesan that I got yesterday – and another Pecan Pie – which must be a HUGE recommendation for the pie as he usually does not order the same thing twice – he likes to experiment!).

We finally got our first taste of Mouskeeping fun. They had arranged several of the girls stuffed animals at the window (awaiting our return) plus a towel animal. (What is it?!)

Picture282-2.jpg

Picture281.jpg

Picture283-2.jpg

There has been much discussion on the DIS about the relationship between tipping and towel animals – and I would say that there is none. I had made tip envelopes (no, they were not fancy – they were plain white envelopes that just said “Thank You Mousekeeping” plus a cash tip inside. How many times has mousekeeping made up our room? Twice. Towel animals? One. Tips left? None! I had completely forgotten! I go ahead and get out an envelope now so that I can’t forget tomorrow!

I tried to encourage the girls to nap – or rest – or something since we were going to have a late night. No one wanted to rest – but they did agree to play with their toys. The “polly” that Madalyn got – Katie wanted to share it. It’s a hard toy to share. It came with lots of clothes, one doll, and two heads :confused3 (I know what Katie will want to spend her money on!) So, Katie played with her new ponies and the Barbies we brought from home. I read my book – and Michael did stuff on the computer.

I called Jennifer to check in – and she wanted us to meet her in the food court about 2:30 for a small birthday celebration – her mom had a birthday the previous week. Debbie was so surprised! (I wish I had known about the birthday – I would have had the restaurants note it on our reservations!)

Picture286.jpg

Picture287.jpg

Picture288.jpg

Picture290.jpg

And yes...that picture shows Liv double dipping -- scooping the icing from the cake with her fork...er...candle!

We finished our cake and then headed to the car for our appointment with a fairy god mother-in-training.

I've just started reading your report but I just have to say I LOVE all your pictures. They're really great. Especially the ones from the 70s.

You've got some beautiful girls. I love those shirts too.

Keep it comin', Kat.

Lala!! Thanks so much for reading (and for bumping me off of the dreaded page 2)! I am working on the next installment -- maybe tomorrow afternoon...

HI Kat in GA

I WILL BE IN DISNEY ON THURSDAY  :Pinkbounc  :Pinkbounc

I ended up at North Point Mall because a friend and I went to the outlet mall on GA 400. I know the Disney Stores had stopped selling the annual passes when the Magic Your Way tickets first came onto the scene. Not sure when they started back selling them. I stopped working at the Disney Store (Arbor Place Mall) early 2005.

DAY FOUR CONTINUED

We left the resort about 3:30 to go to Downtown Disney. Of course we were quite early for our 4:30 appointment. I went ahead and checked in at the BBB – and we were given a “personalized” menu for Princess Katie. They had not personalized Madalyn’s – probably because they weren’t sure if we really meant to spell her name that way :) . But they quickly printed her name on a sticker – and the girls got to decide how they wanted their hair done. We were also given a buzzer that would let us know when it was our turn.

We decided to use the time to shop around the World of Disney. I had the girls look for which t-shirt they wanted me to get. Madalyn found this “have to have” Tinkerbell shirt that had tulle on the sleeves. The problem was that it had really cute pants that go with it. Dilema?! Of course not…we’re at Disney…get the whole outfit! :thumbsup2 Katie had not decided…so we wandered and wandered. And Michael wondered and wondered why he came, too?!

Katie finds the Princess Polly’s – and decides that she needs to get the Tinkerbell one to complement Madalyn’s Belle. Madalyn decides that she needs something Stitch. I am trying to gently remind her that we haven’t even seen all the Disney parks – and we haven’t even gone to the store in Epcot with all the Hello Kitty stuff. But she is adamant, she needs a Stitch. WoD has LOTS of “beanies” of all kinds of Disney characters – from the obvious (Mickey and Minnie) to the not so prevalent (like Marie from Aristocats and Pearl from Finding Nemo).

Somehow a CM is enlisted to help…and we end up in the candy section with a Stitch “purse” that is full of junky candy. Like we need more candy after MNSSHP…Why would Stitch be so hard to find? He’s everywhere else! ;)

Katie finally decides on a sweatshirt – a very “fleecy” aqua colored Ariel one with the word “dreamer” on it. How did my T-shirt for each morph into a $38 sweatshirt and a $48 outfit?! I’m glad Michael wasn’t at the check out counter! BUT…because I bought that annual pass – we got a 10% discount on our purchases. I quickly memorized everything they had in the store so that if we saw something else we HAD to have in the park – I would know if we needed to come back here to get it!

Pretty soon after we paid, we were buzzed – our fairy godmother in training was waiting for us! The area is pretty crowded – and they put Madalyn on one side of the room – and Katie about 4 chairs away. ACK!! I think I had “crazy scrapbook lady” look plastered on my face…and they quickly rearranged so that Katie and Madalyn were right next to one another so I could get pictures. (Yes…I took these pictures while Michael rested on his laurels..and guarded our purchases…pack mule…that’s WHY you are here! :) ) Katie got situated and picked out Disney Diva…Madalyn picked out Fairy Tale princess. Let the magic begin:

Picture292.jpg

Picture296.jpg

Picture331.jpg

Picture322.jpg

Picture327.jpg

It was pretty hard getting pictures of Katie – she talked the ENTIRE time. Most of my pictures have her mouth open. I don’t think she breathed! Crystal seemed unfazed by the verbal assault – even saying how much she enjoys hearing all about the girls! Both girls seemed to have a perma-grin during the entire experience. Even after they realized that I was not planning to pay $10 for them to get some fake nails. When we were finished and I went to pay – did you know that the 10% AP discount applies to the BBB, too? I didn’t – it was a nice dose of PIXIEDUST pixiedust: .

We headed back to the resort to “rest” (ie…play with our new pollies and watch the Disney channel), have a snack, and get ready for our dinner with Cindy.

Picture338.jpg

Picture344.jpg

So…what are the girls wearing? Both girls love to dress up – and as you know I have issues with “trampy” costumes. And dress up does not come in a variety of sizes (what’s up with that?!)…One of Madalyn’s friends gave her the outfit that she is wearing. Her friend decreed it too itchy…Madalyn just thinks it’s quite cute! Katie is wearing a Greek princess dress from American Girls (that her for real fairy god mother gave to her for her birthday last year).

Our reservations were for 8:20 – so at 7:30 I sent Michael to Jennifer’s room to collect Liv’s car seat for the van ride over. This was our first time driving to another resort – and when we had gone to DTD early today I had noted (and said something to Michael) where we were supposed to turn. But…tonight Michael did not notice the turn – so we got all the way to Downtown Disney and then turned around. (which we will continue to do for each resort trip that we make. It became a joke that the way to get to the resorts was to go to DTD and turn around!)

We pull up in front of the Grand Floridian and valet park. In front of the hotel is a pretty carriage that the girls immediately had to climb into for pictures:

Picture348.jpg

We get inside – and I feel like I am trespassing. The lobby is just beautiful! From the ceiling

Picture352.jpg

To the orchestra playing on the second floor (is that a balcony…a mezzanine?) – I think we are more qualified for steerage :) . I go to check in at the podium and we get our buzzer – and head back to the lobby to wait. Madalyn found a desk with a non-working phone (not sure what its purpose is!) that she had fun sitting at and pretending to be quite important. Katie and Liv danced – and eventually Madalyn decided to join them.

All the Disney girls
Picture357.jpg

Our buzzer went off right at our reservation time. We were seated, drink orders taken, and we had our first character:

Picture360.jpg

Then we started heading off to the buffet. Remember Michael and buffets – so we send him first to get a head start ;) . Katie went to load up her own plate while Madalyn came with me. The food was wonderful! I am not a big fan of prime rib – but this was delish. My favorite was the pasta in cream sauce with shrimp and asparagus. Yum. This was a great dinner. We never felt rushed – refills were prompt – and the characters were great!

We soon had visits with Prince Charming (don't you love how Madalyn is holding his hand?!):

Picture362.jpg

Cinderella

Picture366.jpg

And Suzy:

Picture369.jpg

We went out to the lobby to meet with the Fairy Godmother:

Picture374.jpg

It was a long day -- and Liv finally wore herself out:
Picture376.jpg

After dinner we headed out to wait for our car at the valet. This was the only time we had an issue with bugs this trip (other than the disgust with the lovebugs!) – we were eaten alive by mosquitos. I wonder what made them so prevalent over here?!

We were soon back at the resort and tucked into bed. Tomorrow was going to be another full day!

Thank you

We really were on the go -- and that was sooo not my plan. I had thought we'd do a park every other day to give my tired feet a chance to recover. But with the passes -- and we were right there -- it just seemed wrong not to keep going! We were there 8 days (with the 9th as the day we drove home) - and we went to the parks for 7 of those days. We are clearly certifiable! :)

Thanks so much for reading along!!

OK, Kat - what's going on? I bought a t-shirt to do your Mickey heads on them and had to SEARCH for your report to get the directions again! I want to present this as an option for our "matching t-shirt" for the Ladies' Trip, Take 2 that's in May... just waiting for my flour to dry so I can paint tomorrow!

Everything ok there?

Great TR...really enjoying all the pics and stories, however, I must say that after reading all these TR's with non-Disney husbands, I am glad that my husband is as much in love with Disney as much as I am!

Just found this and I am loving it!! Sounds like a great trip so far. Your gils are adorable!
